I know this sounds like an odd question, but I was wondering what kind of milk/yogurt/cheese/"insert dairy product here" do you folks like to eat? By that, I mean how much fat do you like to have in whatever dairy product you're eating (skim, 1%, 2%, whole...).

Personally, I used to consume skim milk/yogurt. But then I made the switch to 2% when I heard that some of the vitamins and minerals in milk were fat-soluble, meaning that they aren't easily absorbed without fat. After tasting 2% milk/yogurt, I was hooked for life and never went back to the skim stuff. It was way too plain and boring for my palate, especially when compared to the creamier and richer-tasting 2% variety.

It's like those who were raised on Coke Zero, Sprite Zero and Pepsi One tasting the real thing, and...ick!--Like drinking 200-calorie maple syrup.

Similarly, if I want milk, I want cold calcium of fat-free, that's it, and nothing standing in the way--If I buy 1% or over by mistake, I get the Taste of Fat included, which tastes like someone melted an entire stick of butter into my glass. (I was going to say "Crisco", but thought that would freak everyone out.)

....There now, aren't opinions more funny and interesting when they're real?

2%. 1% is too watery, and full is too thick.

I drink Organic Whole Milk. So good and awesome for you.
I can't seem to drink 2% or anything like that. It's just to watered down for me.

I prefer 1% but can work around 2% or Skim too if that's all there is. Dislike whole milk.
