I'm surprised nobody has talked about watching Robotech on TV yet...

Also I can't be the only one that used to attack the local Suncoast trolling for anime back in the day. As for favs, anime I watch....

Gunnm, Bebop, Eureka 7, DxD and mind rotting candy like that.

Also Redline is good fun, as well as Macross Frontier and....

So much anime, so little time!

A couple of my all-time personal faves are Cardcaptor Sakura and XXXHolic as I'm a huge fan of any and all of the CLAMP series

I grew up as a typical Toonami kid: DBZ, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Sailor Moon, etc.

The only one of the above I'll still go back and watch is DBZ.

As far as my current favorite anime goes? Oh boy... uh... I'll give a top 3, I guess:

1. FLCL
2. Cowboy Bebop
3. Kill la Kill/Black Lagoon/Darker than Black three-way tie XD

A great choice of shonen/action animes there

Haven't seen FLCL, Kill La Kill or Darker Than Black of those personally though

The Hansel and Gretel arc of Black Lagoon is almost too much.

"Almost" is the operative word there XD

I think Hiroe offered enough character stuff to justify the shock value. I was genuinely sad for Rock when he realized there was nothing he could do to save the surviving twin.

I wasn't too keen on the Roberta's Blood Trail OVAs compared to the actual Black Lagoon series themselves

@VZ68 I'm with you, watched Robotech on TV when it had UHF and rabbit ears. It's so funny you mentioned Suncoast because the very last one just closed earlier this year along with The Wherehouse right after. haha

Do you remember going to anime clubs with your VCR and record fansubs from the main source while watching it? That's what we did over at No Name Anime.
