What do you think about restricting the voting age limit at like 85. I feel like people older than that FOR THE MOST PART don't really have a clue about what they are voting about and who they are voting for. They usually just get sold over key words like Medicare and Medicaid. Obviously this is not a description of everyone over 85, I'm sure they are some intelligent ones. But just a thought. Or maybe they could do something like a test if you are over that age, like how they make you retake your driver license test if you are over a certain age to see if you can see clearly and remember the rules of the road.

I wish they'd do this for driving...

I think they do this for driving, at least in some states. It should be a federal law, cause some old people simply should not be on the road lol

I feel like that would just be unconstitutional. It's their right to vote for such things if that is what's important to them.

I'm pretty sure nobody really knows what they're voting for, though everybody who votes thinks they know that they're voting for the best possible future. The whole "Kids aren't capable of decisionmaking" thing always grated me.

I sure as heck don't think 18 year olds are capable of good decision making abilities.

I don't like the idea that people vote for candidates based on one single idea and they don't consider their entire platform. It is very incomplete and something should be done. Maybe not something as extreme as taking away their right to vote but something.

So, does that mean they're going to lower the legal adult age to 18? Usually the voting age being changed, or the drinking age, blah blah blah, any significant age is changed, that means they're going to change another age even more significant.
