Old people....
Posted 6/17/15 , edited 6/18/15
Edit:
This post was meant to be sorta funny by making it sound ironic but I failed to indicate it was so. (I really need to work on that, both online & irl lmao)

Why so quick to judge but so slow to walk?

I don't know about you guys, but my experience with old people, they can be ignorant as hell. And have more black & white thinking. They can also be pretty rude too.
They hate the idea of newer generations becoming reliant on technology (what is keeping you alive tho???), they seem to find it weird newer generations aren't getting married right after we leave highschool, they think newer generations are becoming more "antisocial" because of cellphones and computers, they still don't wanna use banks...
I hate talking to old people about their opinions on society and people in general honestly. Then compare what their life was like 100 years ago to newer generations.
Like, grandpa, life isn't how it was in the dinosaur ages.
I like hearing their stories, just not their opinions honestly. It probably hasn't changed since 1926.

What are your thoughts on old people?

They're cool. I work with the geriatric community at work. Though there are some that think like that, they're all not like that.

What do you consider as old? And don't worry, every generation thinks the same shit when they're young and then change that thinking when they're older. Same shit, different day as they say.

That depends on whether you're in high school and think "Old people" are anyone over 26.
(Believe me, when you hit 25, junior, the last seven years are suddenly not going to make sense...)

There's a speech from a Broadway play where a retiree makes a rebelliously needling speech about why young people fear, loathe, demonize, and basically want to eugenicide Old People to avoid making them such a public "nuisance":
"We're a preview of coming attractions--We're walking, talking proof of what's headed for you in a few years, and you don't like that."
((heavy metal devil-sign) "Not me, man!...I'm gonna go out in a blaze of glory, leave a good looking corpse, and give the world something to remember!" Oh, really. And what if, by chance, something went "wrong" with your better-dead-than-mature plans, and you find yourself in graduate school at 25, trying to find a good middle-management career position, or at 30 with a wife, kids and mortgage? )

Oh, and countdown to "Eating dinner at 4:30" joke IN: 3...2..1...
No, seriously, out of all the "Eww, kill old people!" jokes, why does THAT one keep getting singled out, it's sort of creepy the fixation people have on that one.

best thing to do with old people is listen. Most of the time they are either lonely or in pain 5-10 minutes about the weather can do wonders.

I'm mostly talking about older people in their 60s and up.
Yeah that's true u-u
But these people tho...since they are like from a generation 50 generations ago, I see them complain about it the most.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

I'm kidding. You're right though. Of course it's much more fun when they do though.

Oh I know lol. Just having a bit of fun. I'm sure some of us older folks used to think the same shit. Well we probably still do sometimes.
