So lately, I've gotten into depression about this subject. When you die, you simply die, all goes away, your memories, and whatnot.

But I'd like to ask, what're your opinions on this subject?

When you die or someone else dies, it is the end of another story.

I don't want to know since I want it to be a surprise.

Dead and nothing more. In a side note. If reincarnation is real. I hope I get reincarnate has A women. Reason. HENTAI REASONS. Also with a harem. In a more serious note. I want to be reborn in a time where genetically engineer cat girls are real.

Idk, you probably just die and everything goes away. Like getting put under for surgery and not waking up again.

After death? You go to an alternate dimension.

Reincarnation sounds cool, but I don't think there's anything after death. We just disappear and no one remembers that we even existed.

No kidding. Depression, huh?

Excuse me if I keep analyzing every "deep" thread that pops up on GD from a "Eh, you teenagers" perspective, but this is a good example:
Teens' first view of death--like, when you're, say, SIXTEEN--is the high school "Forget it man, that's a hundred years away! I'm going to live it up now, unless I go out in a blaze of glory, driving my car off a cliff playing Nirvana!"
Or, when faced with some mortal peril, it's "So, I'll just be out for a couple months with a death injury, and back at school next semester, right? Or do I have to reapply as an animal?"

And then, when faced with pondering their longterm life-arc identity, start thinking "So, you're just not there anymore forever? That sucks! Why do they have to do that?"
And when someone prescribes a little theology to take away the public self-martyrdom and suggest that the higher purpose of life isn't entirely about the end of it, they say "Oh, right, more of my parents' church crap, I'm supposed to go out burning books and gays for the Magic Unicorn, etc, etc.?"
So by the time they're in college, and with no alternate philosophy, they start trying to cheapen/soften the idea by bargaining the concept with fantasies of hipster cynicism, where Death is just a creative personal expression of making your own exit from being stuck in the world's failed responsibilities still cooler than other common people's: "When I die, I want to be....drowned in Skittles. And then be buried at the top of Mount Everest, so they have to carry me all the way up there."

Trust me, Death loses quite a bit of its hoo-hah once you've had a bit of life to make it less of A Thing.
You'll find that out once you've finally become your own person, it'll just be a little bit of a nuisance going through all the preliminaries.

We don't really know what happens after we die. It could either all come to an end or we start over as someone else. Nobody really knows.

I like to think of it as the final frontier. Who knows what might await us when we pass on. It may be oblivion, it may be purgatory. Tis simply the beginning of another journey.

I've been there.

The thing is, death is a part of life. You have to accept that and get past it.

Live your life with as little regret as possible.

You get to meet the maker of this game. He's a pretty talented developer.
