I'm interested in pre-ordering the Villain in Glasses Log Horizon T-shirt and even though it has a sizing chart in the store page the measurements are different than other T shirt selling websites. When I buy shirts I tend to go one size larger than what would fit me. On one of the sites I use a Large has a 22 inches torso width and 31 inches torso length. The sizing chat I see on Cruncyroll is giving me a 44 width and 30 length for a large. Is that measurement in inches too? Would it be a bigger shirt than I normally get?

Well clothes sizes are different in Japan, but crunchyroll uses the American clothes sizes so I would think it is in inches.

I usually buy XL to L in America, but in Japan I have to buy 2XL. And one time I bought an anime t-shirt off of rightstuf and thought it was an imported one so I bought it 2XL and when I got it was huge. ( I buy mostly imported shirts instead of the US versions )

I'm fairly sure all of Crunchyroll's clothes are in American sizes so I would go off that.

Here's the shirt in question: http://www.crunchyroll.com/store/p/164815/Crunchyroll-Exclusive-Log-Horizon-Villain-with-Glasses-T-Shirt

If the Cruncyroll shirts are in American sizes, then would I need to get a small or medium? The chest size on the large is double what a large is on another American site. The number difference between this site and the other one is mainly my source of confusion, that and I want to make sure I get something that fits. Could the chest size number for the Crunchyroll shirt actually be the length number and the length actually be the width? Or is that even more confusing?

Shirts should be longer than wider, so I am thinking they reversed the numbers. Doing a quick search of the forums, there is a thread that says the shirts are standard US sizes located at http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-813649/tshirt-sizing-chart-on-the-store#43873355 so I am half tempted to say ignore the chart. There are similar sizes on many customized t-shirt sites in inches, so I would say they forgot to put the inches indicator and switch the chest and length measures.
