Salutations Crunchyroll users!

I'm Rasmire, and i don't know how to do stuff properly on the forums.

It's been quite a while since i've involved myself in forums and now i'm basically brain dead on how to do most of this stuff.

Basically i need some hand holding on how to Quote, Quote reply and all that jazz.

I'm going to move this over to our Advice, Info, Recommendations forum. (It's located under the "Crunchy Connections" section of the main forum page.)

I'll start by answering the two questions you specifically suggested.

Clicking "Reply" on somebody's post simply posts a new response in the thread. it is not really a direct reply to them, and they won't get a notification.

Clicking on "Quote" in somebody's post starts a new reply that includes a quote of what they wrote, and also notifies them that they've been quoted (if they have that feature enabled.) You can delete that quote, or any part of it (for example, if you are quoting something long you could delete everything except the part you are responding to), but even if you entirely delete it, they will still get a notification.

Ah, that helps a lot. Thank you very much.
