I've always been one who gets homesick easily. Back in elementary school I tried to spend the night at a friends house, but his parents made us stay in his room since they we're gonna sleep, and I started feeling really homesick and wanted to cry, which led to me going home. After that kind of experience to happen at such a young age it kinda stuck with me, and since I am the type who enjoy's staying home and playing video games and watching anime and such, it's something I feel quite often and I can't seem to shake it off.

So, I'm curious to know if anyone else has had these kind of things happen to them.

(Please tell me if this is already a topic.)

I have a hard time sleeping away from my own bed, but it has little to do with homesickness. Really, I don't get homesick at all... I have a hard time understanding it, even. But, people have a lot of feelings I don't really understand.

I kinda get homesick, in that I miss my pets. I really believe pets make people happier, because I get depressed since its so quiet without them. I'm ok if there are others with me, but I've taken some trips by myself and its so lonely without them. I will visit pet stores when I'm in different countries its that bad.

I was homesick on vacation recently. I had never experienced it on vacation at the level I did all of a week ago. It was actually really terrible and brought down my entire mood.

homesick... used to spend the summers with my aunt, had homesickness ever night.
was homeless for a while, so home sick then. got an aparmtent, spent enought time there for it to feel like home, then had to move. again, spent a year in a house that felt like home, and now im moving at the end of the month, to a tempoary rental house, thats is actually for sale.
damn it, i just want to put down some roots, ive been moveing every few months or year for most of my life, with the expection of ages 14-22. that was nice. im bipolar, so changes in routines are very bad for me, and i just end up taking more drugs.

Trust me I know the feeling. When I'm away from my dog I also miss her, it's not enough to bring my mood down, but I get where your coming from.

I'm practically always at home so I never been homesick. I can't afford a vacation lmao
Most times I miss being in my room with all my video games & my bed tho after being outside all day.
If that counts.

Just about never.I traveled all over as a kid and as an adult so there wasn't ever really a home or home town to be affiliated with.I do like to use my own toothbrush though.

When I was small I useto live out of town and my cousins lived in town. I'd be so indesivsive to sleep over. Like I wanted to but I didn't want to. One time I decided to stay with my cousins, and a half a hour later I cried and wanted to go home but I couldn't go home til the next day because they were already home.

I've never been homesick but I've been sick of home.

I don't.. which really makes me wonder what's stopping me from just traveling everywhere.

I don't think I've had that. It might have something to do with moving home then countries early in life and spending years away from parents. I went to summer camps happily. I was first of my siblings to officially leave home and never looked back. I don't count big sis because she was sent to study and after a few years she moved back in with the family.
