My name is a play on words in regards to my profession, I work with transport & logistics, mainly deliveries and what could be called "blue collar work". I'm Swedish, I live in southern Sweden and just a few months I was just lazyscrolling though internet pics and found a funny .gif from the anime "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions"

I had seen the girl before on other pictures and since I had nothing to do I decided to look it up at a free streaming service thinking it was a lighthearted/slapstick comedy thingie, didn't do any research or background check, saw the entire "first season" on a Saturday, spent a good quarter of that night looking at the wall and the whole of Sunday sulking wondering what else I am missing and wishing I was a better person for some reason. Rikka as a character I could relate to from personal experience and the series as a whole left a significant mark in me to the degree that I started looking other things up more seriously in the anime-universe. Obvious choice was Crunchyroll.

I stumbled upon Anime at a very young age without even knowing what it through the series "Moomin" that ran on Swedish Television but at that age I probably didn't even know what "Japan" was.

First anime show I watched and that I knew was Japanese was Pokémon and it of course came with all that it had to offer, the trading cards, the gameboy-games and other things. Dragonball was the first manga that I red from beginning to the end (the anime-series never aired in Sweden I think).

I have red quite a few mangas online, ordered books and some DVDs of the usual suspects (Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Girls und Panzer, Akira, Devil May Cry). But in general it just came and went in seasons, I would pick something up that interested me and sometimes I would shelve things that simply were far too long (One Piece).

Then I saw Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions and it made me realize that if I don't start keeping tabs on this culture I am going to miss out on some great content.

Personal notes, I'm a very easy going guy, I've been to Japan two times (Tokyo both times), my favorite anime is definitely "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions", "Cross Game" (both the manga & the anime) and "Sora no Woto".

I will gladly answer any questions and I look forward to partake in the community.

Best Wishes

Hey, welcome to CR and the forum! Hope you enjoy your stay.

Chuunibyou is a great show! I finished both seasons of it last year, and there were moments where I would laugh out loud Devil May Cry is cool too; I used to watch it long back before I even knew CR. Have you read the Devil May Cry light novels too? If I remember correctly, they were quite entertaining.

Anyhow, CR seems to be getting more and more good shows, so enjoy the ride!

I didn't even know a light novel series of DMC existed.
