Hi, all!

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but...

Recently, a friend of mine got me to watch Attack on Titan. This is the first anime (barring the movie Akira, IIRC) that I have ever watched. Loved it. I then proceeded to watch Knights of Sidonia (awesome), Sword Art Online (the middle episodes kinda felt slow but were necessary), Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (great), and just finished Blast of Tempest (a TOUCH bit slow paced, but enjoyed the mystery aspect of it).

Having little experience with this anime medium, could anyone venture a guess as to what other shows I might enjoy?

I've tried searching for similar veins of shows using Reddit and such, but do not feel strongly about the suggestions. If anyone would be kind enough to assist me, you will earn my gratitude!

As far as I can tell, I am looking for something set in either a fantasy setting, or in a sci-fi setting. I would require that the show be action oriented, but with a degree of romantic subplots (nothing too overbearing; I don't wanna watch ppl go on dates and stuff for episode after episode), kinda like SOA. As a plus, I seem to enjoy the concept of the protagonists being absolute badasses.

Thanks! Cheers!

I prefer Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood to the original FMA, but that's a matter of taste--in any case, both sound like shows you would enjoy. Both can be found on both Netflix and Hulu.

A Certain Magical Index (Hulu) sounds up your alley.
Eureka Seven (Hulu, Netflix) is a great mecha show--has a lot in common with Gargantia.
Strike the Blood (CR) also sounds like something you would like.
Steins; Gate (Hulu) is one of the best sci-fi stories you'll ever see, and has a solid romance in there to boot.
Vandread is an older mecha series, but if you don't mind the somewhat out-dated animation, there is a lot to like here.

Baller. Thank you, kindly; this'll keep me busy for a while. Probably aiming at Blue Exorcist, first.

Eureka Seven looks spot on. These look pretty much identical to the stuff I am looking for! Thank you!

Kingdom(This is a historical War Drama, opposed to a Fantasy setting, but omfg the action in this anime is epic, and it is one of the top two anime with the best char development, however just has a hint of romance)

The Legend of Qin/Qin's Moon(The action scenes in this are pretty godly, It's hard to figure out, which has better action scene, this or Kingdom. The romance aspect is clearly visiable in this anime, I just wish it was a bit stronger)

Letter Bee(This is a awesome series, but there's only a hint of romance)

Inuyasha+Inuyasha the Final Act(good action, and has one of the top 2 strongest romance aspects in anime history. However even so, It's in moderation, this anime has so much going on, it doesn't really go against what you're asking for, even though overall, the romance aspect is so strong. This would be the other one of the top 2 anime, with the best char development)

Tsubasa Chronicle(have you ever watched the Live Action Scifi series Sliders, well this is basically a anime version of sliders, just with a way, way better main plot then Sliders had)

Busou Renkin(It's set in modern day, but is based on Alchemy, which can be considered fantasy or Scifi)

Ark(2005 movie)

Origin spirits of the past(movie)

I know more if you want, but these are the best ones.
