They need to fix and update a LOT of stuff on this site and it's applications. They need better customer service, ever since that one company bought Crunchyroll their customer service really sucks now.

Crunchyroll should have a "Movie" section of Anime Movies. Yes, I know their would be a licensing problem there. But if it were a "Premium" to only paid members, then it might pay for itself.
First run movies would be out of the question, unless...they do like Amazon has been doing. Have customers "Pay" for the First run movie after it has been in the theaters, or after a while, rent it for a limited period. Then, the licensing would be different. Also, customers get to "Keep" their downloaded content on CR if they paid full price. And it would be accessible even if membership were dropped. The only downside to this, would be storage in a cloud somewhere. But with computers now on the market that is on a "Stick" with Intel, and now "Lenovo", the market of transportability is ramping up. Now it the time to consider this! Crunchyroll...are you listening? |

Loyalty program.
Offering rewards for members who have subscribed for a long time. I don't know if CR knows it, but there's a new anime service offering premium subscription in Australia. And... as much as I love CR and grateful for it... i think i'd rather support my local business... unless CR has some sort of reward that makes me want to stay as premium here.... |

Git arl da anemiz.
And my crunchyroll tv app doesn't have a search bar so I have to add them to the queue from my computer first; which is a little bit annoying. Also, the app crashes when I am just browsing through the anime list |

I'd like to see CR have all anime titles spelled out in Romaji with a small audio included featuring their proper pronunciation.

Make a separate thread in the comments for people who have read the Manga of an Anime!! it sucks when you're reading comments and assholes feel the need to ruin cliffhangers or ruin anime endings!!! even when they add the spoiler alert im expecting a spoiler for the episode i've just watched not spoiler for what's going to happen later on in the Anime!!! we get it you read the manga... STFU!! Also.... more classic anime... Dr Slump please...

The mobile app kept freezing the last time I used it, like it even froze during ads so I couldn't do anything to re buffer it. So I had to go back to watching stuff on my laptop.

I'd like it if the Manga reader didn't cut off the lower section of a manga. This happens even in fullscreen mode. Also, as many others have stated, it would be nice if the pc version of the manga reader could be queued. As it stands, manga will often update, but still not show up under the recently updated tab.
Furthermore, I'd like it if Crunchyroll could negotiate with manga publishers to provide a digital version of manga for purchase. For instance, Fairy Tail is only available for the most recent issues. I wouldn't mind paying money for the previous volumes, but I don't really have room for more books. I'd like a digital version that I can legally read on my laptop. I don't want to pay Amazon for a digital version that can only be read on kindles and smartphones. I know that the companies are concerned about privacy, but illegal/gray area versions of their manga are typically easier to read than the legal versions. I'd like to see Crunchyroll start a crowdfunding option for the translation of light novels. Baka-tsuki has some good translations, but translators should be compensated for their work. I think that Japan is underestimating the worldwide market for light novels. Personally, if I watch an anime that ends on a cliffhanger (such as Oreshura or Campione) then I want to find out how the story ends. Choosing light novels for translation via crowdfunding guarantees that there is a demand for the product, and also minimizes the risk to the publishing company. Someday, I hope that it is a given that every successful Japanese light novel has an English translation. Selective history editing would also be nice. We've all started an anime that seemed innocuous only to find it violates our sensibilities in one way or another, or maybe we wanted to someone else in the family to watch an anime while we watched ahead. It makes no sense not to give us full control over our history. |
