Can anyone tell me why this version happens to be 3x the price as the one that just got released. They seem to be identical to me.

I want to buy it but it's hard to spend $120 when the original was $40. With a decent answer I may buy her today while the daily deal is going on.

The difference is this is a scale figure versus the figFIX by Good Smile. The figFIX is a smaller scale (1/10th scale I believe) and has the same quality and detail as a figma figure. This one is bigger and more detail. Plus it's by another manufacturer.

Honestly if you're looking for a cheap addition to your collection figFIX is recommended but for a serious collector and general scale figure collector then the 1/8th scale is better. I don't buy figFIXs because I'm not interested in the figma line nor its size.

I appreciate the quick response. I usually just buy Nendoroids (waiting on about a dozen preorders to add to the growing collection) so I'm not fully familiar with scale models (though I have a few). Well I have a bit of time to decide what to do. Thanks again for responding quickly.
