The anime adaptation of Food Wars / Shokugeki no Soma doesn't really mess with the manga. Unless you don't like the voice actors, there really isn't anything to complain about. Even the art style is the same.

Punch Line is Stein's;Gate mixed with FLCL. The plot is easy to understand. The main character has to keep redoing everything until he gets to an ending that satisfies him. It's going to be a game.

The only show that felt completely off to me was Gunslinger Stratos.

Aside from that Danmachi could have used a lot of polishing but the premise wasn't bad. There are similar animes out there that were much better done though.

Triage X was the only thing I dropped this season for being straight out terrible (the fanservice could not cover how bad the writing was).

Gunslinger Stratos was never even on my radar, and I dropped Re-kan after the first episode for being kind of boring and not what I'm looking for this season. The same goes for Rin-ne.

Not really sure I understand the hate for Punchline, Shokugeki, or Kekai Sensen. Kekai Sensen's anime original plot doesn't really seem to mesh all that well with the rest of the plot, but it still works pretty well.

I vote for Gunslinger Stratos even though I only watched the first 2 episodes.

I think it was a pretty good season.
There were several above average shows.

I didn't watch too many this season, but I enjoyed them all more or less.

If I had to choose one I would say HS DxD, but that was more a disappointment that they strayed from the LN into original content and messed with timeline of events.

Really need to go back and watch Punchline before the new (aka summer) season. As far as I'm aware the director of 999 and VLR was behind Punchline. I've heard it shares some similarities and with Zero Escape 3 possibly/almost all but confirmed to be revealed next week.... hype!
