It really depends on the person. I have very outgoing and loud friends as well as some quiet, bookish ones. I find that the old "opposites attract" thing seems to work for me overall, though.

I have a friend who is different from me but we have similar interest in Xbox games. We are pretty good friends, and he is very different from me.

I think it helps to have things in common but some of my friends, we are fairly different. I have some hobbies i cant share with many others but i think everyone i associate with we have at least one or two things in common. Wheather it be video games, sport, anime, drinking etc.
But i have friends that dont work (i do) , do drugs (that i dont) that dont drink (as much as me) , friends that are married and that are not, some that live at home with their mum, some that own a house, etc

Well, we are together, aren't we? I mean, we're all on CR. We're one big family. Dysfunctional, maybe, but still family.

Neither, people hate people, everyone's only looking out for themselves in the end.

This is why you'll get thrown to the zombies while someone else gets away. RIP

People that understand each other in some way make a healthy relationship. So they may have completely different body types, or hobbies, but if they have a similar type of logical reasoning or atleast are able to understand each others logical reasoning that's the big part.

Similar. Like nerds stick with nerds, and rednecks stick with rednecks... know what i'm saying?

both.

It doesn't matter. It's fun with both because with one, you don't know what you're going to expect from that person. So it personally gets me curious. And the other, you probably know what they do and why they do it & you understand.

My best friend is completely different than me. Likes nothing I like, holds no similar religious or political beliefs, nothing. But we're still like brothers when we're together. It doesn't matter.

I think it only matters in a romantic relationship. You need to be on some sort of level ground with one another or it's probably not going to last long term.
