I'd personally want to get rid of racism first before legalizing weed.

You are better off trying to fight porn on the internet. Get rid of racism? Good people have tried that for 200 years now and racism is still strong unfortunately. It will be a long battle apparently. While legalizing weed is a step in the right direction we can actually take in the moment.

I have no idea how to feel about this, I think, I really don't care.

Homosexuals only make up 3 to 5% of the population, their marriage rates will be insignificant statistically to say the least, and it doesn't effect me one bit.

I'm no supporter of it, but I also don't oppose it, since I'm not gay, I could care less if they could get married or not.

Since today is their day, they deserve this victory that they fought for.

Kuddos to those who'm this affects in a positive way.

pretty much this ^

I just wonder if it will ever break past 5%

It's usually been like 3-4% so far

Makes no sense. How would you do that within legal terms? We already have anti-discrimination and hate crimes laws, and racism still exists abundantly in this country.

Marijuana will be legalized before 2017, easily. It may even be sooner with elections coming up.

Wouldn't really matter what is legal and illegal these days fellas. Hasn't been since laws were first put into place actually. Laws do not prevent anything, only punish those who break them. Hell, even "law abiding" citizens break the law every day.

I consider many of the laws put into place these days that are sensationalized nothing more than pandering/show boating to be honest.

Took long enough. Still shocked at how many Americans still think this is a bad thing.

This is great news. Now couples who wish to marry don't have to move to different states.

Marriage was made in the first place to be between man and women though, that is the whole point of it. Though I guess through time it's lost it's basic meaning, and now it's just a way for government to make money off you. But well done, now they can be miserable like most other married couples. Marriage is a waste of money.

Now with this out the way, maybe we can focus and trying to solve things that actually affects us all.

Financially speaking, it is more beneficial to get married.

That is if you don't get a divorce which has a high percentage these days. As a guy you're more fucked in most cases, so I would never get married. And if not, you'll have extra money to spend on things to help make your mundane marriage life better lol.

Finally, a ruling that defends our first amendment by proving that this country is not under the rule of religious doctrine!
