A giant gorilla with brooding good looks and rippling muscles is causing a stir at a Japanese zoo, with women flocking to check out the hunky pin-up.

Shabani, an 18-year-old silverback who tips the scales at around 180 kilograms (400 pounds), has become the star attraction at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya, striking smouldering poses the movie model in "Zoolander" would be proud of.
"He often rests his chin on his hands and looks intently at you," zoo spokesman Takayuki Ishikawa told AFP on Friday.
"He is more buff than most gorillas and he’s at his peak physically. We’ve seen a rise in the number of female visitors — women say he’s very good-looking."
Shabani, who has been at the zoo since 2007, shot to fame after being made the campaign model for the zoo’s spring festival earlier this year, Ishikawa said, adding that the ape’s paternal skills are also a big hit with women.
"He’s a father and he always protects and looks over his children," he said. "Zoo-goers think his kindness is attractive too."

In all honesty though; damn that's fine looking gorilla

Interesting

I've always found the concept of the Supreme Court very interesting. Sometimes it almost seems like an oligarchy.

Of course, that sentiment has nothing to do with gay marriage whatsoever. The Supreme Court can do good things as well as bad things ~ I just find it fascinating how they operate. What they rule on isn't as intriguing as how they rule, if that makes any sense (to me, at least).

I think you've confused the Olympics for the Circus. Also, physically unable to perform what task, having children?
If that's the case I'd point out there are plenty of heterosexual couples not having children for various reasons. Anyway, It's not like we are teetering on the brink of extinction, if any thing we are over populated.

How do you know what I agree with?Talk about classic. I'm simply asking if that's what the Barbie on your handle signifies.

Marriage was made in the first place to be between man and women though, that is the whole point of it. Though I guess through time it's lost it's basic meaning, and now it's just a way for government to make money off you. But well done, now they can be miserable like most other married couples. Marriage is a waste of money.

As I recall, the whole SC case started over "We've been a long and supporting couple for twenty years, but after my partner died...I COULDN'T GET ANY GOVERNMENT BENEFITS!!"
Nice to see that true love triumphs over all. Heaven forbid couples had to "suffer" for so long just living together happily without the need for public validation.

Also, before we have the Gay Mafia take over the thread ("Equality, tolerance, and freedom of speech, except for Teh BUllleez! Anyone who says we're wrong is either Hitler or a televangelist!"), keep in mind that the true definition of Equality is that some people are now no longer More Equal Than Others.
When one "persecuted" social group--especially one that's become marketing-happy enough to milk its persecution for every public PC drop it can get--is no longer persecuted by the law, um...they may find they've lost a certain advantage in the Credibility and Mandatory Sympathy games.
And that if they gather two hundred couples to marry on courthouse steps, the likely response from authority will be "...You kids get off my lawn!"
