So I watched the Anime a while ago and I was just wondering the other day how much farther the Light Novels get from where the Anime ends. I would like to finish the story and I saw that there were 6 light novels but if the Anime is at the end of those novels or close to then I don't really want to bother too much with it. So yea, any help?

According to what I have read online, the anime ended with the 3rd light novel. So it doesn't cover the 4th, 5th, and 6th. So I'm guessing if there is a season 2 it would cover the 4th, 5th, and 6th.

well, there isn't a 100% guarantee that there will ever be a 2nd season for NGNL (I mean I want it too, but no one ever confirmed it), so there's just hope that there will be another season.

Yeah only rumors so far of a season 2 but hopefully there is going to be second season, I really liked it also and hope it continues but if it doesn't then there's always the light novels though.

edit: Anyway I recommend getting the light novels since there's no 100% guarantee of a second season coming out.

Has anyone actually read the (English translated) Light Novel? I have been looking into it and apparently the English translation is terrible. All I have been able to find is the first 2 volumes separate, or 1-6 together. It is over $60 dollars to get 1-6 together (which I at least for sure want 4-6) but I don't want to spend the money if it's not translated very well. Would rather read fan translations at that point even if I can't get a physical copy of them.

Where did you find those english translated versions? The only official english translation released so far is volume 1 from Yen Press. Volume 2 isn't scheduled to be released until 07/21/15 with Vol 3 coming in October and Vol 4 coming in January. And according to ANN's review there wasn't any issues with the translation outside of some of the fragmented sentences, which isn't a translation issue and is more part of Kamiya's style.

Guess I should of read into things more than a couple minutes. After you mentioned them not even being released yet I went back and researched some more. They put that it was English translated when it wasn't and meant that they used fan translated material to help them read the volumes. My bad.
