Hello, everyone!
So today, I watched the new Angel Beats OVA, named Hell's Kitchen, and to be fair, I expected a whole different content from what I got, but I don't want to spoil anyone who haven't watched it yet, and planning to do so.
I was pretty disappointed with the OVA, but after the ED/Credits rolled, there was a last message saying "To be continued...". Now I know this can be pretty misleading and can be dropped in the future (Highschool Of The Dead, for example [;_;]), but anybody knows anything about wether it will be continued or not?
I personally wouldn't mind another spin-off of the series,
but other than that, I don't think this series needs a sequel.
What do you guys know/think?

I am content with the way it is now. If a sequel is attempted it may ruin an already beautiful story.

(though I must admit, a continuation is intriguing, though the only way we could follow our characters is into their new life ...)

I'm not sure how anyone could be too disappointed with this special. It was pretty much just like the first special.
It is based on taking place in the middle of the season, not too much additional character information(though we got some in special 2 here) and more so of just a nice fun episode.

I do think with the visual novel coming out today and the "To be continued" there is a chance we maybe get some additional character background specials.(Hopefully)

This ^. The visual novel will fill in all the plot holes for us, and expand the story.

Maybe more OVAs in the future? But the VN is going to be the continuation/expansion. It's going to have a route on pretty much every character, it's going to be massive.

Just wanted to say, nice avatar

I've only finished Kotori's route and some of Chihaya's but it's a great VN so far.

If it stayed the way it is, then I would be okay with that and same for if it got a sequel. Although, if it got a sequel, I hope it doesn't ruin the story..

I think the story needs a sequel. Perhaps of a younger sibling, timeline, somehow needs to be wrapped up... It's just a really good story that could be extended to create more stories. I'm bedazzled why they haven't tried to make an entire series out of it.

A sequel of Angel Beats wouldn't I mean the original story would be original. It's not going to be like the Eureka 7 sequel which had a great original story that they merely needed to create a new plotline instead we got a story that was completely from another timeline that ruined the entire premise of the show. It also stated ideas which we could interpret from episodes 44-50.

No sequels please. We already got our ending. What we need are the inbetweens and character exploration. Those'll be accomplished in the Visual Novel.

But if they had to make another animated season, I'd prefer they go back to Jun Maeda's original Angel Beats outline by adding in more episodes during the story and/or remaking certain episodes that were changed due to shortening Angel Beat's run.

I see. Well, Angel Beats is okay where it is.

I'd actually love to see a life after the fact movie or OVA short series (like Strike Witches' Operation Victory Arrow). To see what actually became of the cast once they came home. All we got is one short scene after the credits showing what happened to 2-3 of the characters, there were a lot of other ones that I'd love to see how their new stories began.
