Can't wait for this, finally a drama on crunchyroll with an edge. I have enjoyed some of the dramas, but most of them aren't really my thing. The Death Note movies were cool, but it will be good to see more room for the story to grow with the tv show.

I won't be choosing to watch this just yet, although it does look really good

I'll happily wait until it's fully completed on here first before I do

I'm looking forward to this too. Loved the anime, the manga, the two movies and the "Light" spinnoff film.

Seen the first episode earlier & so far I enjoyed it.
I seen online how a lot of people hated the changes but to me it's an interesting change of directions.
Besides which the script writers ate Tsugumi Obha & Takeshi Obata themselves so it's not like it's against there wishes themselves.

Plus I find Light being more of a psychopath to be more interesting than him being a pure genius.

I be loking forward to next weeks episode.

This was definitely a twist on the story that I wasn't expecting. Overall I liked it, there were a couple of things that I was irked about, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses. Every incarnation does something a little different, and this drama is no exception. There was only one ludicrous change that I'll likely never fully accept, but that's more because of personal preference.

It seems like they're going for a more twisted psychological feel, and they absolutely get there.

It's alright for live action Japanese. Though the Near reveal being so soon bothers me. I can't pretend he doesn't exist now.

I like that they've changed up the story a little. I don't really need to see a complete rehash. It felt like by the second half it was starting to come back to the original, but then we met Near and...Mello.

Was surprised how interested i was in the first episode. It was close enough to the Anime that i didn't feel like breaking things, but different enough i was entertained by it. i will be watching it more as it comes out ^^.
