Golden Time was also a conclusive romance, albeit the ending had some rather questionable scenes involving a physical enactment of a mental state. Regardless it was still good.
Definitely a conclusive romance/drama anime.
Guestbook some suggested Anime to watch, along wiith it's genre
In addition to what's already been stated:
The Tatami Galaxy
Clannad (in case you somehow haven't seen it)
Aku no Hana (ish)
White Album 2
The World God Only Knows (ish)
Oreimo (You might complain, but it DID end)
Blast of Tempest
Requiem for the Phantom (kinda counts, I think)
Mekakucity Actors (can't fully recommend it though)
Gosick (If I remember correctly)
This is what I got after a quick scan of my MAL account. Either way though, I agree, this is a pretty short list considering the vast list I'd probably end up with counting the ones that don't end.
Edit: Just noticed you said "in the last five years." subtract from list accordingly.
More than 800 anime came out in the past 5 years, and it's hard making a list of 10.
I dunno... it's just hard to even get excited about them anymore when I know they're going to be so unfulfilling
Oh just wanted to clarify. They don't have to "end up together". But I expect a romance anime to go past the first stage of dating. White Album 2 did an ok job at it.
I got my revenge.
