Correct me if i'm wrong, but would these fall in this category as well?

Sketchbook ~ Full Color's ~
Sasameki Koto
Hyakko

Those are ones that stick out to me because I quite liked them. At least, I think they fall in this category...

Streaming will never truly be a viable alternative to home media while nonsense like this persists. I've never seen some of these! What has to happen for studios to want to renew these titles?

If enough paying members request it on the official forums, CR might try to work on renewing contracts; otherwise, I don't know what else you can do. Really, removing shows from legal sites just seems like a poor business choice to me. Rather than buying DVDs or BDs, several people will probably resort to illegal streaming sites, so the studios will just be losing money.

"Welp, I think we've made all the money we need. We'll take it off the streaming sites now. And we sold the 10,000 BDs we planned on, so we won't print any more. But GOD FORBID any one of you bastards pirates our stuff!"

They used to have the first half of Code Geass (subs and dubs) as well as Eureka Seven (Subs and dubs), though both of those expired a couple years ago.

You lucked out because the animation got incredibly bad in later episodes. It was like they weren't even trying anymore.

I'm just glad I caught Haruhi and Anohana like a week before they took them down. Don't know if I'd be watching a ton of anime like I am now if it wasn't for them.
