People who complete college make more money on average. Only a small percentage of people are successful without going to college. If you think you don't need college, then maybe you don't. It all depends on the person.

^^^Agreed^^^

It depends on your definition of successful. If you want to be wealthy and have a professional career, not going to a university would be a huge risk, but if you are content to live moderately, or be a stay at home mom, then maybe university isn't the place for you.

Well yeah university isnt for everybody. Im just saying, that some professions need to be learned only in universities. Like being a Doctor, Lawyer...etc. People shudnt be soliciting opinions to other people such going to university is only a waste coz thats not really true.

People who have diminutive vision of life are people who don’t want to finish college. It’s a choice, whether you really want to earn degree or not (may perhaps rich or poor).

If you’re dreaming BIG, then you really need to do something.

Umm...the 1 mil would be considered an income and they would be taxed so a lot of that money doesn't go to them...and they could get that money in 1000 dollar increments. Depends on what is the contract that we dont see them sign.

I'd have to say that isnt true. I want to finish college, but I have a diminutive vision. =( Then again I dont do things unless I have to. I dont really move or have anything specifically planned.. I am what they call a thinker with no motivation what so ever..I think of a whole lot of things, but never act on them. I am in a situation where people have used me too much. I have helped friends achieve their status of being accepted into a university and given them motivation...and I am still left behind back where I started not moving anywhere in life. There are so many people in this world and so many ways to make your money. You just have to do things. Not just sit around like I do. ^^

To me there are two people in this world..those who users and those who are being used.

Oh...and another one by one of my instructors...."People don't plan to fail, but they fail to plan"

you need kicked your butt to work.

You’re commencing with the wrong degree or something since you really don’t know where you’re heading.
That’s a waste.

I feel ya.. I exactly know what you mean. But then i realised that I had to something. I have to realise my own strength and keep up the good job. I tend to bring myself down but managing not to. Coz im so much of a perfectionist. and Its not really good.

Being certain about what degree one is getting is one thing, but do we really know where in life we're going to end up when we're 35?. My degree might count for nothing and i could be in a profession that i may not have envisioned up until now. And that's the point, some uncertainties are neccessary. Absolutism, especially in life can be too irksome sometimes.

agree'd it is a waste. and yeah I need my butt kicked. I did want to do computer science as a major, but never followed through since I lost motivation due to the mass number of individuals going for that major as well. And it is on the rise once again.

What can you tell a person who has numerous talents in various fields and can specialize in either or? What you like and what you can do are really two different things. ..I can do so many things, but I cant tell if I really like it or not. I just do things because I can and do things for projects, other people, and other things, that I don't sit there and think is this a hobby? Do I enjoy this?

I really hate the fact that i have to waste 4 years of my life to get a job with a better pay.... but what the hell, its not like im using my time right now so well with anime..

Going to plan to go to John Hopkins or Cornell for engineering at this rate. (i mean like doing all those damn college essay, application, and etc)

Would be interesting to be able to be successful without going to college, but i dont want to take the chance and regret it later so... i go for college
