So, is it mochi, or is it ice cream, or is it mochi-covered ice cream, or...?

Apparently gluttonous rice that has been soaked then pounded into a paste or cream.

Sounds gross. I dislike rice.

For Mochi Ice Cream, nothing beats green tea or red bean.

As for Mochi Sweets: Strawberry Daifuku is the best.

Mango and Strawberry is pretty good too...

I like any kind except red bean. I know that's a thing in Asia but I can't get used to the taste. I like taro, sesame, and coffee the most. I think I had a peanut kind of one too. And I really want to try mochi ice cream!!

My favorite of the mochi ice-cream balls is the red bean, with green tea close behind.

I read the wiki about them, and was surprised that they have only been on the market for about 20 years. That would mean the little family-owned sushi bar I went to while in college was a very early adopter.

I'm a mochi ice-cream hipster. :fedora:

I'm the only one in my family that likes mochi, which is good for me because when we buy it ITS ALL MINE. I honestly like the red bean more than strawberry flavor.

It's always a good time for Mochi. Especially with it being summer. I love the coffee one the most

Any and all mochi to me is delicious. I could literally stuff my face with it, throw it around as confetti and name all of my children and pets after it, it's that good. Plus it's super cute.

I like stuffed mochi the most, then you get contrasting textures that work quite nicely. Peach, melon and lychee mochi are especially nice for fruit flavors, but I love peanut mochi for its crunchy (ish) outside and peanut butter centre :3
