I was in a behavioral ward for teens when I was 12. One day this 17 year old boy was admitted, practically a 6'7" teddy bear. At the end of every night, right before we were all sent to bed, we had a group support chat which was concluded with the Lord's Prayer.

As soon as the prayer was over, I looked over at the new guy and he had his fists clenched. The Nurse in charge of the meeting looked at him and asked if he was okay. The boy immediately starting swearing, got up and flipped the table over, and ran to his room down the hall. Doctors and back up were radioed for, as we were all told to lock ourselves in the closest available room. Right before I got into a room, I saw a 4"x2', 3" thick piece of window ledge, complete with screws sticking out of it, come flying out of the boy's room and at a nurse. Right after we heard them call for a tranquilizer, I heard the boy screaming in a language I didn't recognize as he punched a hole through a bulletproof window.

you can punch a hole through a BULLETPROOF window??

First one of mine is probably towards the unusual area but the second one is a bit dark.

First time i met my best friend in 5th grade he was hanging out with another friend at a playground. We started hanging out and then his friend dived on me and started trying to choke me. After im not sure how long my friend finally got him off. Afterwards i think was when i started becoming paranoid and quit trusting people honestly. Crazy thing is the guy doesnt even remember trying to choke me and i honestly would have thought it a dream by now if it wasnt for the fact that my friend witnessed and remembers it.

I use to live in the country next to a small river and had a dog that was very dear to me. There was a time though where she disappeared for about half a week and i was at the river because at the time i had been trying to teach myself how to use weapons (short swords, long swords, daggers, katana) with some tree branches and i spotted something next to the water in the distance. I always loved watching animals and couldnt tell what it was at first so i grabbed a branch appropriate for the type of weapon i was best with and started sneaking along the beach towards it. I finally got close enough to tell that whatever it was had died and when i approached i was unlucky to find that it was the dead decaying corpse of my dog. It was a sad day for me but my dog loved the river more than anywhere else so at the same time i was glad that she chose her favorite place to be as her resting place. Probably good i dont live there anymore though since there was reason to expect that this guy my family knew poisoned her and i cant promise i wouldnt have attacked him.

In 3th grade or so, there was a guy who kept trying to bully me in my afterschool program. We used to be friends before that but he turned on me and also stole money and Pokemon cards from me. When I found out, I got so angry that I threw him down a flight of stairs. He never messed with me again after that.

I was 13, it was a rough school year. I was put in a different class and I couldn't deal. I was also bullied. One day I couldn't take it anymore, had a nervous breakdown in one of the washroom stalls. Went home in the middle of the day and chopped off my long waist-length hair to a really shot boy-cut. It was the most self-destructive thing I could do myself at that time.

I moved schools the year after.

Saw a girl die when I was about 4. Also saw someone get murdered when I was 16 or 17.

One time I saw a news crew at an apartment. My mother was wondering if there was a murder and sure enough, when she turned on the evening news, it was talking about a homicide.

Another time was when I got hit by a car while crossing a street. Fortunately it wasn't going very fast and my injury consisted of a goose egg on my head and some nasty road rash, but it was still a scary experience.

Seen plenty of shit growing up in the ghetto in my younger years. Good, bad and ugly. Worst thing (in my book at least) was probably witnessing a girl get raped by a couple of guys.

This one is my grandma's, not mine. It's one of the reasons she hates mainlanders and China so much.

My grandma was from a farming village near the center of Taiwan. In her childhood years, the Japanese soldiers would go to her oil mill (her family made a living from farming and making oil) to trade for oil and to give away extra rations since they had a good relationship with the family. My grandma often tells me about how tasty the canned ration beef was back then and how nothing tastes good nowadays. Anyway, the Japanese soldiers were always very kind, polite, well-dressed, and generous. Everyone liked them even though they occupied the area because they'd always bring free stuff and have people give the village kids an education. The Japanese were the reason the village survived and thrived.

But when they were driven out and the Chinese soldiers from the mainland swept in, things were way different. They wore dirty outfits, had no manners, bullied the villagers, spit everywhere, stole things, etc. It was a huge change and nobody liked it. I guess the soldiers somehow got wind of this and took it to be some sort of threat, so they decided to attack the village one night. Fortunately, an informant kept the villagers posted, although the notice was a short one. You won't find this written in any history books. A good number of villagers were unable to hide in time. My grandma and her family, along with some others, hid underground in a disguised air raid shelter or bunker or some sort, surviving the night.

The next morning, the Chinese soldiers had gone and the village was very damaged. Many of the villagers above ground were dead, killed by the soldiers. My grandma was there alongside the adults gathering up the dead. She picked up her friends' organs and entrails and placed them back into the bodies, then helped drag the bodies to the side of the main path and covered them with cloths. She has never forgotten about this and harbors a deep grudge against the Chinese up to this day.

Once when I was a kid, I was walking down a street in the middle of night when I happened across a bunch of people who got really hostile at me for daring to walk on their driveway or something like that.

Somehow at that moment I knew that I could just turn the street light above me off.

So I exclaimed "HA!" and pointed at the street light, and the darned thing turned off right then and there.

Scared the crap out of those people.

However, in retrospect it was probably just a case of a street lamp malfunction.

Around that time, I also had a weird thought about scribbling a bunch of nonsense onto a piece of paper, rolling it up and using it as a wand. Something (maybe the ink) shot out and burned my right toe. However, I probably imagined it. You know, kids.

I've seen some pretty gruesome videos online but have never seen something that I would consider dark or unusual

I was abroad visiting some relatives.
I was taking a shower and forgot my towel that I was supposed to bring.
The lighting had broken so there was only a dim light in the shower.
I looked around and there seemed to be one I could use, but it was wet so I twisted it to make it dry.
What I saw was some sort of dark-ish red liquid being squeezed from the towel.
I looked down to see it everywhere.
I got a little freaked out.
I quickly put back where I found the towel, took a quick wash and got out.

I don't know. I'm pretty convinced it was blood, but it was hard to see.
I have a lot of questions, but at the same time I don't want to know.
