Hello All,

I'm rather new to Anime and wanted to get a good list of completed anime for future reference. I've noticed since I've started watching anime that a lot of them leave off on cliffhangers (either b/c a new season isn't ready yet or the anime is no longer being produced). Although I've enjoyed watching these shows, I would really like to get more complete stories in as I like the closure they bring and don't leave me hanging and hoping a new season will come out... someday.

Anyway, as a reference, here are the completed anime I've enjoyed so far:

Your Lie in April (Wow! The feels. Highly recommend!)
The World Only God Knows (Fun romantic comedy, with lots of twists and turns, made me happy and sad at the end)
Toradora (What a lovely story, I almost didn't watch it but kept seeing it come up in the forums and gave it a try, glad I did it was such a good romantic comedy)
Stein's Gate (What an awesome, twisty-turny story, with memorable characters, comedy, and feels)
Golden Time (Super fun rom com, with an emotional roller-coaster to end it all)

I've watched some other complete series, but these at the top ones for me right now. You might notice I really like rom coms. However, I am open to any really good anime. So if you have a favorite completed anime, then let me know as I'd love to dive into them.

PS: They don't have to be on Crunchyroll.

In no specific order:

Inuyasha+Inuyasha the Final Act

The Legend of Condor Hero

Kemono no souja erin

Hanasakeru Seishounen
Overview/review: http://www.anime-forums.com/showthread.php/160507-Hanasakeru-Seishounen-review

Victorian Romance Ema

Aish-iteruze Baby(this has a open ended ending, but that's how it really should be handled, if you watch this anime, you'll definitely agree with how the writer decided to end the series)

Hikaru no Go(the story its self is very basic, but neverless this anime is so awesome, in a epic kind of way at that)

I suppose i'll keep this list down to what is currently available on CR:

Anohana
Uchouten Kazoku
Kyousougiga
No. 6
Parasyte
Grisaia
World Conquest Zvezda Plot
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (there's also a movie but its not available on crunchyroll just yet)

All of these are full story arcs that are completed within 12-24 episodes and I personally enjoyed each one, but they vary in genre.

Some more shows that aren't available on Cruncyroll, but are worth the watch:

Death Parade
Mirai Nikki
Cowboy Bebop
Space Dandy
Ghost in the Shell
Serial Experiments Lain
Zankyou no Terror

There are tons more but I happened to like these quite a bit. Same deal though 12-24 episodes, full story arc. All of them are worth the watch

Side note: Magi is not complete yet and it may be a while before season 3 comes around, but it is one of my favorite shows available on CR right now; its got 50 or so episodes right now over two larger story arcs but i'd recommend picking it up now and watching it slowly before it becomes too long to watch from the begining

This guy has listed pretty much everything I was going to recommend and as such I'm just gonna say listen to this guy and list a few more that he didn't mention.

Note most of these aren't on CR but I'm sure you'll be able to find them with a little digging around. Unless you're North American, then just watch them on Funimation

Baccano!
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Chaos; Head
Tokyo Ghoul [Season One much more so than Root A]
Samurai Champloo
FLCL

Ones you will find on CR

Time of Eve [Watch the Movie, the series itself is here on CR for premium members if you can't find it though]
Fate Zero
Fate/Stay Night UBW
JoJo's Bizzare Adventures
The Monogatari Series [Google that one to find all the seasons' names because they're all over the place on CR]
Kids on the Slope

Ones you're not gonna fucking find unless you do some dirty things

Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Garden of Sinners

Akatsuki no Yona/Yona of The Dawn It's probably getting a second season, but nobody knows for sure yet. The first season ends in a good place though, it wraps up all loose ends, but leaves room for another season.

Blue Seed is Inuyasha with a plot and a satisfying ending

Both FMAs

Excel Saga

Terror in Resonance

FLCL

Azumanga Diaoh

If rom-coms are your thing then go watch Silver Spoon - extremely funny, likable characters, no love triangles, and a ton of feels. Yes its probably ongoing but its worth it.

-Eyeshield 21
I very much enjoyed. It is anime about football in Japan. If you like sports oriented animes. It has great character development and story line. They make football seem so damn epic.

-Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
(Not on CR. Can be found on Netflix)

-Sword Art Online 1 & 2
http://www.crunchyroll.com/sword-art-online

-Hunter x Hunter

-Samurai Champloo
Must Watch. Funny. Amazing Artwork. Fight scenes are awesome as well.
(Not on CR. Can be found on Netflix)

-Blue Exorcist
However, I was kinda bugged how they ended. They can easily create another season. I hope so.
