There was this one game I would play called thunder. The idea is we toss a ball at the ceiling and whoever gets hit by it has to be the tosser and it just keeps going. Oh, and we have to shout "THUNDER" as we do it.

There was a pretty fun trampoline game that we used to play called popcorn and one of us would just curl up in a ball on the trampoline and everyone else was supposed to jump around you trying to bounce you so high that you uncurl yourself. In retrospect it was a pretty dangerous game because you could veeeerrry easily hurt yourself playing it, but i remember that i was bounced at least 6 feet into the air before i got scared and opened up!

Also a really fun pool game that i used to play with all the kids at the local pool was called sharks and minnows. The pool had a 13 foot deep end that was about 20x25 feet and you would start the game with a bunch of kids as minnows and one kid (usually the best swimmer) being the shark, and the goal was to swim to the other side of the deep end without being eaten by a shark. if one of us got eaten, then the next round they would become a shark, and really the only rules were that the sharks all had to start out in the water and the minnows were allowed to start outside of the water to jump and dive in. And of course whoever doesn't get eaten/gets eaten last is the winner and gets to start out as the shark for the next game. We would play that game for hours and sometimes we had as many as 40 kids playing! Makes me miss those days

I used to wrestle with my friends on a blow up air mattress. Fencing with golf clubs was another favorite pass time as a child. sounds harmless but my childhood friends and I were all very competitive children... the games only ended when one of us was to bruised to continue or crying

Dodgeball, Football, Paintball, and Chess were the ones I played a lot as a kid / teen. I was also one of those spoiled brats that practically had all the game systems.

Grew up with video games. Those count as games right? So many hours wasted playing games like Twisted Metal, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong, Golden Sun, and so many more. Brings back quite the nostalgia. I never really got into board or card games.

Handball. The kind where we use a rubber kickball and hit it against a wall with our hands. The ball must not bounce more than once before the next player hits it.

Sword fighting. Kendo sticks and random other things.

Played with bugs and spiders.

Flew kites and tossed frisbees around.

LEGOs for days. Literally.

Nerf guns and dart throwing.

Table tennis mastery.

Me and my sister had this game where we dangled stuffed animals from a rope / jumprope from the upstairs floor, while one of us tried to catch the dangling stuffed animal from the downstairs floor. Basically, the person upstairs kept yanking the stuffed guy upwards whenever the person downstairs tried to catch it.

There's this forest with many old and dead trees close to where i live, so we often went there to knock down as many as we could. We'd use other dead trees to knock down the others. Treebeard would have loathed us.
