Hypothetically, let's say you died. You died suddenly and unfairly. You didn't say goodbye to your loved ones or anything like that. Like I said unfair. If you could get a second chance at life, would you take it; but it's at the expense of someone else's life. So basically would you live, even if it meant trading it for someone else's life. A life for a life. You would live, they would die.

Probably not because I'd have their death on my conscience. Definitely not someone I cared deeply for. A stranger, maybe.

If following the "Samurai" way, pay up for the unfair deaths meaning that yourself could gain peace.

No, I wouldn't sacrifice someone else's life and happiness to please my own selfishness. It may be hard to never say anything to your loved ones again but still easier than the idea that you took someone else's life and placed that burden on their family.

I'd just die.

Ye, I would lol. I wouldn't be surprised if the one doing the revival is the one who killed me and set this up. It would perhaps be the first true revival anyways and you could do much with the information.

It would depend on what I learn of what lies beyond death though.

No.

I don't think it would sit well with me. If I truly thought it was unfair, then how unfair would it be to the person whose life I just took? I'd be doing the very thing that has now so enraged me.

And whoever they were, they'd probably do more with their life than I would anyway.

This reminds me of the red button challenge. Press the red button to kill 1 random person in the world and get $1,000,000. The only problem is the 1 person is the last person who pressed the button before you, so the next guy after you would kill you, etc. If you're already dead though, you really have nothing to lose.

Yes I trade the other person's life for me own. If they had a problem with it I'd say... YOLO.

I probably would...I'm not gonna pretend I am a good enough person to not sacrifice someone not in front of me for selfish reasons. If it was someone I knew well though, it would be a different story.

I don't give a crap about a stranger's life but I have no issues with dying in any sort of way so I would say no. If it allowed me to restart life completely then sure. I'll trade 20 lives for that chance and then they can even be family from the old life.

Depends on who the other person was and if my life was worth living.

Do you get to pick whose life you'd be exchanging yours for? Because if that was the case, hell yeah.

I haven't seen Tokyo Ghoul but I'm going to imagine this is the premise to it.

I would never contemplate it! To rob someone else of their life simply for the selfish desire of returning to your life which you were "cheated" of is despicable and something I would never condone. I believe in an afterlife but even if I didn't (nonexistence being one of the worst fates I can imagine) I would never condemn someone else to die in my place.

Then again, if I got to choose the life to be exchanged then I'd take the opportunity and kill someone such as a serial killer or a rapist.
