Hit the nail on the head. I also use Roku for most of my anime streaming needs and whenever there is a problem Funimation is quick to give me a response to the issue and have it fixed in no time. Plus Funi does a great job at listening to user feedback in my opinion seeing a lot of the suggestions in their forums actually being put into the site. They're pretty active with the community on there and actually take the mseriously with suggestions. Kind of makes me excited for an ineventable website overhaul which it could use.

Funimation listening to user feedback is the most farfetched thing I've read this year. People have been complaining about them using the wrong color range in their simulcasts for years and nothing has been done. They conveniently hide a large amount of negative feedback by actively removing forum threads about it, telling people to contact support instead and then completely ignoring them.

I have to admit though, if that is your impression then they are doing a good job hiding it.

Sorry I don't like paying to see ad's, Hulu is the biggest rip off of any streaming service.

Hulu is like the worst streaming service out there. You have to pay and you still get ad's. It's pathetic. I only use it cause I don't have to pay for it.

God Eater was already announced as a Daisuki exclusive:

God Eater will premiere on July 5 as a Daisuki exclusive...

Wow, I didn't know about this especially about the part where they hide the amount of negative feedback. Can't say I'm too surprised though.

Actually the color stuff happens due to encoding, which also happens occasionally here on CR (about as much as Funi).

And they have listened pretty decently by improving their player so much, I actually prefer it over CR's player. It's much faster, at least in my case.

Whelp, this is the reason I also keep Funi sub too. They snagged up almost everything I'm interested in this season, not to mention most of the highly anticipated stuff. Only two shows I'm actually interested in are on CR right now... I'm really not digging the fact that the simulcasts division is growing wider and wider with every season either. Isn't gonna be close to half and half this season?

Also what is left for pickup?

Funimation has been slowly increasing their number of simulcasts since the beginning of 2014. At some point they have to hit a limit (due to titles licensed by Aniplex, Sentai, Pony Canyon, etc. that are competitors to Funimation in physical distribution). I'm expecting they may reach that limit by the end of this year.

5 of those simulcasts they announced are continuations, so they will have 15 new simulcasts when the final two are announced. In contrast, CR will likely end up with at least 25. Not only is that not even close to half and half, but the overall simulcast slate is even further in CR's favor, as it has 18 continuing simulcasts vs. Funimation's five.

There are 47 total titles this season, with 2 claimed by Daisuki. With the 15 claimed by Funimation, that leaves 30. While one or two of the new simulcasts Funimation has may end up being shared with CR, they are going to be at least one or two titles that simply won't see a simulcast.

Still waiting on that Symphogear annoucement

That is a good thing about both companies needing to compete for titles now. It could give them the extra push to say, "Let's do this!".

That said, I still think a Symphogear announcement by either would be akin to a miracle.

Which title do you think may be shared? for U.S regions.

It aids the gap in CRs favor as well, that most of the other R1 distributors use CR for simulcasting.
