This show is badass. Purely badass. I feel this show is one that deserves more of that hype train monster right now.

This show is giving off so many vibes and recollections of other series. All of them good. And damn that music is great!

Plus there is a magical girl cleavage creature! hell yeah.... mmmm.... magical girl cleavage hahaha

Really interesting, the ED especially.

This episode did not wow me in the least. It was all over the place and felt like it had no direction at all. I'll give it two more episodes though.

Very stylish but very WTF. Not sure this one is going to sell or hold my interest but I will keep watching as long as I'm interested. The visuals are interesting but so far I really don't have anything to hook me, make me want to watch, need to know what's going to happen next. If I never saw another episode I wouldn't miss it but this season is quite light so it will remain until I'm bored of it.

Reminds me a bit of Rolling Girls with the crazy random hero stuff.

It is an original anime so there is no source material to check. So unless a PV shows it we'll have to wait and see if there is any romance.

If it will, Funimation has it scheduled to simulcast on its own site at 11 AM EST on Sundays, and the simulcast blurb says the show is a 2 week exclusive for its subscribers.

The first episode would have been this past Sunday, the 4th there, so if the Funi/Hulu partnership continues as it has in the past, then that opening ep could possibly be there on the 18th, with others to follow on that same two-week delay. No guarantees, though.

Episode 2

And now the focus is on the boy. He's a ghost and a shapeshifter, and that allows him to pick out all the popsicles with the winner sticks, as well as making him impossible to confine in a cell. And he has some pretty nasty history with a bug race that had been wiped out due to development. But in the end, Jiro was able to have Fuurouta and Campe settle their differences, and now Fuurouta works for Jiro. That was a decent episode there, and certainly Fuurouta is quite the unusual boy.

Episode 2

Looks like we got our new member!

The episode centers around Fuurouta and how joined the bureau, which made for some nice character dynamics and development. We see the time shifting from present to past involving the bug queen, which was interesting. Things are progressing and questions are being raised. I am looking forward to the next episode!

I guess the past/present/future skips are going to be commonplace to the story. Not the end of the world, but could be annoying and lose tension for future events.

The episode touched on "good and evil" on a few levels, but nothing too indepth. Can "good" people do "bad" things? Seems that is the question that shook Fuurouta in the future after confronting a past deed. I wonder if this subject was also played up due to what seems like the inevitable departure of Jirou from the Bureau.

Episode 2

Damn Fuurouta killed Campe's people mistakenly.

Liked episode 1 better than this one tbch.

Think I might have to rewatch this episode again later on today cause unlike ep 1 found this one slightly harder to differentiate between what was a flashforward and what wasn't so might have missed out on some stuff.

The story is good, much better in ep2 than in ep1... but yeah, those timeskips are making it a bit hard to follow the story sometimes.

What's interesting is the crossover... I was thinking that Hitoyoshi Jirou definitely seemed to take after 009, and in the previews the detective's character design seems to be inspired by 004...

The timeskips are 7 years apart.

It always goes year 41 / year 48 right before it changes times.

I think it's an interesting way of doing things though. It shows us a sort of butterfly effect type of thing.
