I second this, I just bought a new Samsung Smart TV and I really miss the Crunchyroll app on it, I have to rely on my Wii U to watch Crunchy and that means turning on the WiiU and having another remote other than the TV one with me.

You could screen share the app from your mobile phone. We are not planning to create a dedicated app for Tizen devices at this point in time.

I did try but the quality is not as good as using my WiiU, this is just a suggestion then, consider tizen because just picking my TV remote and starting watching Netflix takes like 5 seconds. As opposed to using my WiiU which takes some time to load and requires me to have my gamepad with me.

Yup the app is gone from the Samsung hub... At least I have a S7 Edge, the only way I can watch it on my TV now is to run the app on my phone and cast it to the TV screen...

They can barely keep the apps they have working well.

You should always be able to screen share from a mobile device to your TV.

Screen sharing does not involve Chromecast. Pretty much all Smart TVs come with a functionality called Miracast, which allows you to share the screen and audio of your mobile device with the TV over a network connection.
