tumblr is only good if you use it the right way and not mingle with the dark side of it

I don't follow any anime blogs on Tumblr, mostly because its hard to find people who enjoy the same animes as you. But Tumblr is a great resource for finding GIFs

I don't use tumblr for anime, I use it in a typical teenager way.

Tumblr is a gif haven for me and anime. I don't ever use it to comment there though, much less read them.

Gifs...that's about it. That's all Tumblr is good for. And even that you can get elsewhere...

I only use tumblr for GIFs and fan art, so I have no idea what the OP is talking about.

This whole thread is like me finding a mech anime on crunchyroll and saying "This mutha f-ing site is all about mech anime" and then seeing someone with a anime profile picture and saying "And all the users are a bunch of loli pedos".
I don't expect anyone that agrees with this thread nor the OP to understand what i just said.... tbh

I am not a fan of Tumblr whatsoever, but there is a large portion of Tumblr for anime. From what I've seen, it's mostly what you'd expect from the users of that site to like, with lots of yaoi, manservice, and of course, Hetalia.

But, to a lot of people, Tumblr's relationship with anime is sort of troublesome, as they feel it's a diluted form of what anime is, and the yaoi is especially problematic, as it's not well liked. Lots of them watch "entry level stuff" and don't leave that realm often.

I say despite this, it's great, more platforms for new fans. But a lot of people disagree.

What do you think about Tumblr and anime?

I'm in love with tumblr girls with skinny waists and drug habits.

Tumblr's fandoms are guaranteed to have SOMEONE annoying doing SOMETHING annoying. No exceptions. Their anime fandoms can be as asinine as Superwholock at times. And Superwholock is the worst. Other times, they can do a series better, but there's still a bunch of bad eggs amid the good ones. Trust me, I know. The DRRR fandom on tumblr is pretty much crap to me.
