As the title says.. anyone ever stole something that belongs to you? How did you feel about it?

I got something stolen from me at work. I'm not going to say what it is but it's a tool that I use at work for my job that is important to me. When I realized it was gone I felt sick to my stomach. I mean I make a living along side these people. We all have to grind it out together every day, why would you take something that's mine behind my back? I felt 100% betrayed.

If a thread like this already exists shoot me a PM.

I once had a mate swap some of his scratched cds with my good ones. Felt betrayed.

I have had good friends an been lucky to not get broken in to but i have suffered alot from lending stuff and money to people.
I've lent out cd's, games, etc and either never got them back or got them back with something missing or etc
I have done big favours for people $ wise and gotten burnt. makes you feel stupid and not want to help or trust anyone.

Oh and stuff i have lent out was stolen off who i lent it too...

Or it just takes forever to get back or you get it back then they borrow again.

Guess you could count when i was a kid i got rolled for my had a few times. Managed to get it back everytime though.

Nothing important so far. So I don't really care.
Then again, I feel like I don't have anything important. lol

Far to many times. It sucks but its part of living and growing up. Just remember how you felt when it happened to you if or when your tempted to do the same. Because its just human nature but it doesn't mean that its not wrong.

Yeah one of my roommate's friends stole all the money out of my wallet (about $100). He also tried to steal my roommate's safe but we caught him and he ran off.

Later we found out he had a crack problem and was going around stealing from all his old friends. Didn't see him for about 8 years, but ran into him a few years ago. Apparently he cleaned himself up, but not before someone took a bat to his head. Nasty scar.

He sort of apologized for stealing and I sort of forgave him. Haven't seen him since.

I have alot of stuff that has way more sentimental value than dollar value so i really dont wanna get my stuff stolen.
Having said that, some of my old video games that got stolen/lost are rare and worth a bit now...

Back when I was in high school a friend of mine stole a couple of games from me. Needless to say we aren't friends anymore.

Dang that CD thing isn't cool. And if I borrow something from somebody I usually make it first on my to get it back soon as possible. I don't want anything happening to something that isn't mine

I've never had my house broken into! knock on wood, a few former friends of mine broke into someones house that we knew though and they did get caught and punished. It's not worth it. Earn your own belongings in opinion. Personally I feel violated if I don't know who was touching my stuff without me knowing.

Yea, my best friend stole my girl, he was banging her behind my back. It was like the worst pain, nearly killed them both in that bed when I saw it. But cooler minds prevailed that day. I just remember vomiting after it all.

I had a Matryoshka Doll stolen from me in Kindergarten. I brought it for show and tell and it got nicked. I was very sad till the boys mother found it about two weeks later and made him return it.

I also had a calculator I was borrowing from the school nicked too. TI-Inspires are expensive! That was another really sad day.

I also had my prized collection Pokémon cards stolen from me. My dad invited his well behaved students to our house to have a pool party and a BBQ. I was showing off my cards and put them back. Someone really wanted them. I still miss my Shining Steelex, Charizard, Pikachu and even the Shining Magikarp.

My Grandpa got pickpocketed a few times in Greece too. The little brats would run up to you and shove a newspaper in your face to sell it. Then their partner in crime runs up and takes your wallet or passport. Getting your passport stolen makes it hard to get back to the USA! His house also got broken into as well.

Oh yea, and some arse this semester came into my dorm and stole 2 pounds of hamburger and my Rind Rouladen meat. If I find whoever stole my meat... they will die. *My roommates had a really hard time closing the door. All the dust made the door a _____ to close*

Man, thievery is common now that I think about it...

Ya, two consoles and a couple games for each. Back in high school one of my sister's friends moved in with us. After he moved out I never saw them again.
