Okay, okay, so it's technically 7/3 already here in Los Angeles, BUT, I have one more announcement coming for today, being typed up in my hotel room at AX this very moment, and its none other than Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc!

Unfortunately we've hit some slight delays, so we will be confirming time and date for episode 1 just as soon as we can, but you can catch Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc on Fridays at 8:50am for Crunchyroll members WORLDWIDE except for Japan.

The zany and cute-but-crude Wooser returns for another season in Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc! Voiced by the prolific and hugely popular voice actor Mamoru Miyano, Wooser is a creature that only cares about three things in life: meat, money, and girls.

SANZIGEN Animation Studio returns for animation production, with Seiji Mizushima, who previously directed shows such as Shaman King and Slayers Next, directing the show. The opening theme will be “Lucky Girl”, performed by singer Yun*Chi, known best for also singing the ending to Log Horizon, “Your song*”.

We've got more shows being announced with Wakaba*Girl and Ushio and Tora coming to Crunchyroll's Summer Lineup!

Due to some slight delays, we will be announcing the air date and times for both series at a later time, but you will be able to catch Wakaba*Girl on Fridays at 8:40am Pacific Time for members in the following territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Adapted from the 4 panel manga by Yui Hara, Wakaba*Girl centers on the lives of Wakaba Kohashi, the eccentric daughter of a wealthy family, and her friends. Wakaba looks like an elegant rich daughter, but she aspires to be like a trendy "gyaru". Moeko is a pure, innocent and fairy-tale-like girl. Mao is capricious and behaves in her own way. Nao used to be an athletic type of girl, but has now become a fujoshi who loves boys love.

Wakaba Kohashi will be voiced by Ari Ozawa (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun as Chiyo Sakura) , while her friends Mao Kurokawa, Moeko Tokita and Nao Mashiba will be played by M.A.O.(DURARARA!!×2 as Vorona ), Mikako Izawa (Locodol as Satsuki Kashiba) and Rie Murakawa (ETOTAMA as Nyaatan)respectively.

Ushio and Tora will be available Fridays at 7:30am Pacific Time for members in the following territories: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Middle East/North Africa, and Europe (excluding France and French speaking and Italy and Italian speaking countries).

Long ago, a ferocious monster terrorized the land, until a samurai, wielding the legendary “Beast Spear”, sealed him away. 500 years later, a middle school student named Ushio Aotsuki accidently uncovers the monster in a hidden cellar under his family’s temple. The unsealed monster and the spear attract many other supernatural creatures to the temple and Ushio is forced to release the monster in order to defeat them. Ushio names the monster “Tora” and unwillingly work together to battle other spirits and demons.

Studio MAPPA (Punch Line, Kids on the Slope) animates Kazuhiro Fujita’s original manga Ushio to Tora. Ushio is played by voice actor Tasuku Hatanaka (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal) opposite Rikiya Koyama (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) who will voice the fearsome beast Tora.

It's Day 1 of Anime Expo and we've got a TON of announcements coming your way, starting with GATE, airing Friday, July 3 at 10:00am Pacific Time in the following territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, Europe (excluding French and French-speaking territories), the Middle East, and North Africa.

On August 20XX, a gate suddenly appears in Tokyo's Ginza district, unleashing a portal where monsters, medieval knights and other fantasy beings come from another world and wreak havoc on Tokyo. The Japanese Defense Force take action against these monsters and push them back into the "Gate". Third Reconnaissance Team is dispatched to the "Special Region" lead by officer (and otaku) Youji Itami. On their travels, they are joined by a beautiful elf girl who is a survivor from the dragon's rampage and guide the group across the dangerous new world.

From the studio that animated Sword Art Online and Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, A-1 Pictures adapts GATE from a light novel to an anime this summer. Voice actor Junichi Suwabe, known for roles such as Archer from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and Daiki Aomine from Kuroko's Basketball will take on the part of the otaku soldier Yoji Itami. He is joined by Hisako Kanemoto, voice of Sailor Mercury in Sailor Moon Crystal, who will play Tuka Luna Marso. The opening will be "GATE ~Sore wa Akatsuki no Yō ni" by Kishida Kyōdan & the Akeboshi Rockets, while voice actresses Hisako Kanemoto, Nao Tōyama, and Risa Taneda (ED) will perform "Prism Communicate" as the ending theme.

We've honestly got a mountain of announcements still on the way, so keep your eyes here to Crunchyroll and if you're at Anime Expo, don't miss our industry panel on Saturday at 11am at LP3!

Gate looks like it has the potential to be really good, i'm excited to see it. I'm surprised Prisma Illya and Non Non Biyori haven't been announced yet. Soon hopefully.

Sentai library (non-simulcast) titles are normally streamed by The Anime Network.

There have been exceptions, most notably Amagi Brilliant Park, which is MIA over at TAN and seeing its first legal stream at CR. (Despite being a Sentai title but not a simulcast).

Seeing the second Higurashi series streamed at CR would be like a heavy nostalgia trip for me, as that is where I originally viewed it (back when CR was a fansub site and I still viewed fansubs).

Ah dang. Well, I'll continue to hope for a little bit. At least it will be possible to finally own them. I expect Sentai will remaster them in HD for BD release, probably in separate season volumes, though I'd love a combined Collector's Edition of Higurashi.

Also, that's pretty cool you first saw it on CR.

Gate! Yes! I've been reading the manga online and it's terrific. This should be in the top 3 anime for the summer season.

Shouldn't those be added to the title?

I notice we still have one more title due today, so I thought I should get this in before it is posted.
