Whats fun with big scaled fights is,
- Less put inside of messy run and gun anything close (mostly spawn in a calm area to plan ahead, or just being reinforcements)
- Got space to plan and see if there is a huge groupe in this area and if are able to sneak attack or flank (meaning you got enough space without being spotted and etc to make that flank, sneak attack successful)
- You can do most things solo/lone wolf as for stealthy capture, planting or stealing cars. :P
- more?

Thats why spotting/team work is so important in batlefield, makes it harder for sneak attacks but it is awesome having bigger maps where its very possible to do.
Capturing flags isn't the easist thing to do lone wolfing, i mean i do it alot but usually the other team will head there or spawn there before you get the flag capped.

On console, everybody is too busy sniping in the mountains, so lone capping a flag is easy. Basically everything is more casual on the console except the competitive scene. BF3 PS3 had a lot of clans.

Yeah when theres 32 enemies to worry about someones almost bound to spawn at the cap your trying to take before you get it, when lone wolfing.

Old school. I missed out on 1942.
Yeah 2 and 4 my faves.
Not gonna bother with hard line. Hoping for a real battlefield games again in BF5. Those special forces expansions were cool. The euro ones were also but they weren't played much, so it seemed.

Exactly. I have Battlefield 3 on PS3 and PC, Battlefield 4 on PS3, PS4, and PC. Battlefield Hardline was too disappointment. You seen Battlefield 2 was #1 on my favorite. The game I hated is Battlefield Hardline because it's the cops and robbers like PayDay games, GTA (Grand Theft Auto) games, SWAT (from 3 to 4) games, and Kane & Lynch games. Battlefield Hardline is like Kane & Lynch 2 game. I'll buy DICE's Star Wars: Battlefront on PS4 just after 2015 with my Cambodian friend from private high school who is fan of anime and Star Wars.

Yeah i thought that hardline looked like a combination of counter strike, COD, pay day, etc with only some battlefield elements.
I've only ever played BF games on PC.

PC is better. I should work for EA DICE to develop the game that inspired by ARMA series called Battlefield World which is open world like GTA with customize the soldier like changing the faces and outfits beside weapons and vehicles. Also customize the maps and worlds like set up the bases, restriction area, and spawn area. Battlefield World will be available in PC exclusive. After Battlefield World, I'll open and found the new independent video game development studio.

If Battlefield Hardline wasn't considered a new game and cost $60, I would have no problem with it. If it were a standalone title, I would consider it a good game. But it looks almost completely like BF4 without vehicles and different game modes. That doesn't justify the price tag for me.

This a thousand times. You want quality? This. BF3 was good, but BC2 was amazing.

I'd still take the BF series over any modern CoD game these days though. They ruined that series long before BF.

Yeah i mean COD pumping games out with same old out dated engine year after year. At least BF has updated pretty regulary. Frostbite engine is fantastic.
COD miles behind, yet more popular.

I disagree. CoD is still a better game than most almost any of the recent BF games except BC2/BF3 imo. Graphics don't make a good game, and BF has shown that 2 times now.

I enjoy BF3/BC2 more than CoD, but I would choose Black Ops 2 over BF4/Hardline any day of the week including weekends.

Well to each their own. I used to play COD 4, it was cool. Back then it had better graphics than BF2 and you could shoot through walls(which in BF2 you could not) also in COD 4 it had dedicated servers(not sure why they ever changed this and made it that hosting crap??) also you used to be able to lean around corners in COD, not sure why they removed that?
But COD never really did it for me, the clan i am in did really well in COD 4 but i went back to Battlefield.
COD just is not for me. I dont like the small maps, the no squads, the random spawn points, etc

I did quite enjoy MW2 i prolly put a couple of hundred into that.
i HATED black ops, hated it. Decided i would never buy a COD game ever again.
I have seen people playing them and its just more of the same(i know now they have the adavnced/futuristic weapons and that) , the same old out dated engine, could just be DLC.
I have no interest what so ever in playing single player so if COD is better in that regard then that is irrelevant, for me personally.
And i couldn't care less about zombies either( i only say this becasue i hear this used as to why COD is better).
Its not just about graphics for me(but that helps), and of course COD and BF are completely different games(unless you only play TDM in BF?) to me its more about the destructible environment, that and the leveloution(but more so the destructible environmen) that puts it light years ahead of out dated COD.
On and then there is the 64 players thing to.

EDIT: i never have nor intend to play Hardline. From what i see that aint battlefield.
2ND EDIT: i still play BF4. Think i have put over 400 hours in now.
