Most likely not.

Funimation has the rights to the series.

It seems extremely unlikely that CR would get it and not Funimation. They have supposed completed all their simulcasts announcements, and certainly would have announced it yesterday at their AX Industry Panel if they had it.

More people should have considered the possibility of the series not being simulcast, given that neither part of Dragonball Kai was.

If Funimation had announced it, I wouldn't have been surprised to see CR also announce it. Given that CR finally obtained One Piece from Toei, they now have a good idea of how CR performs vs. Funimation (not to mention that CR covers more than just the US and Canada).

Probably not, but it should be. Double for Funimation.

Gonna keep bumping this, since people keep starting new threads asking the same thing, without first seeing the discussion here.

One thread that had some additional discussion before it was closed is: /forumtopic-908259/will-cr-get-dragonball-super

I don't have enough time (I have to leave for work soon) to find the post and link to it, but someone over at Funimation's site said they mentioned during their "Resurrection of F" presentation that Toei was unwilling to open negotiations at this time.

I can't wait to watch that, more likely CR won't because there's no other series on there.

Funi seems to have something Dragon Ball related going on for San Diego. Might not have anything to do with Super but probably a good idea to wait and see

According to a mod on the funimation forums less than a week ago they said Funimation didn't have the rights to Super, so it sounds like something CR could fight for maybe.. I mean the fact that it's not even listed as a show on Funimation's service says a lot.

It was also indicated that Toei wasn't entertaining negotiations (i.e., they aren't interested in simulcasting the series).

I wish they look into this and allow CR to stream it on their website. DragonBall is BIG and they shouldn't just stream it on TV....I hardly watch TV and the only time I watch TV is when I am falling asleep.
