I've always wanted GTA 5 ever since it came out, I got so jealous of seeing other people getting it and playing it. But convincing my daddy to get me one took a long time! I finally got GTA 5 for the xbox 360 on January 24 (my birthday) of this year, I didn't play it straight away when I got it, I played it the next day. I mostly wanted to play GTA 5 because I desperately wanted to play the online version because the campaign version has a mission where you have to go to the strip joint and my daddy did not want me to do that. So, i died in the prologue and decided to try again, and died again, I decided to shut off the game and play my sims 3 game. A couple of days pass probably a few months, I started to think about my sister's fiancee or my neighbor could come over and finish this stupid mission for me. One month later, My sister and her fiancee came over and I asked him to clear the mission for me. My sister's soon to be husband cleared the prologue level for me but they both had to leave soon, so I was stuck doing the very first mission ( trevor and lamar) I messed up in the trevor and lamar mission so, I decided to close the game - thinking it would save and play something else. 2 months later or so, I decided to play GTA 5 again! But I was shocked to know that it didn't save my game because I didn't let the green rotating circle thing pop up. Also, I asked people about how to clear the prologue and someone said to use assisted aiming. EVEN WITH ASSISTED AIMING I STILL SUCKED AT SHOOTING ALL THE COPS IN THE PROLOGUE. Now, something months later, Im deciding whether or not to sell this game or wait until, my sister's fiancee comes back and ask him if he could do the 2 missions for me. I really really want this game but, Im thinking about getting something else if I can't do the thing im going to do for the rest of the game- shooting. This has happened to me before, My daddy got me Legend of Zelda skyward sword last year but I had difficulties with the first boss and lost it with the second boss, I traded the Zelda game for a sonic one (stupid me) when I couldn't get pass the stupid 2nd boss. I feel like im a digust to the gaming community, here there are so many other people who can do shooting and all that other stuff in a single breath and here I am complaining about how I can't even fucking shoot! I can't ask my parents to dicuss to keep this game or not because they won't understand at all how im feeling about this. So, I am asking you guys, should I keep this game or sell it and get a another game?? ALSO: I can't get the PC version because I have a home computer and it can't run a big game like gta 5 and Im not made out of money to get a beast computer :(

please help

When it comes to playing any game, the key skill is situational awareness. In your case, it sounds like the biggest issue are issues with aiming (and probably steering your character). Before you attempt missions I would work on steering your character then randomly aiming at other people (try to follow them with crosshairs [if you have no crosshair check options).

If you feel disoriented when turning your character then I would check and see if you can turn off "blur" or similar motion effects (these disoriented me a long time ago as well).

You are not a disgust to the gaming community. Some people are really good, while others may have difficulties (some games can take quite a while to get used to)

The people who are truly frowned upon in the gaming community are trolls, griefers, and other similar people who thrive off of the pain and misery of others.

I understand your frustration completely. I learnt a long time ago that I'm not cut out for first person shooters and platform games. Instead I switched to puzzle and strategy games like Civilization or Gemcraft.

Perhaps you need to explore different game genres to see what you are good at and what you enjoy (not always the same thing)? If you are on a tight budget there are a lot of free flash game sites out there that can run on quite old PCs (my main site at the moment is http://armorgames.com/ but there are plenty of others to choose from).

If you enjoy fighting games then I would highly recommend Dead or Alive. The game offers a great challenge and a somewhat decent story-line. I would say my favorite thing about the game is that you can't button mash, there is also the great sense of achievement when you beat the later opponents .
