Dardanos chuckled, amused by her sass. "Dardanos." He said. Looking to Aric, he flashed a toothy grin. "Do you have plans to go somewhere else?" He asked, bringing them closer to his face. "I think you have plenty of time down here." He pulled at his chains, which were attached to a point on the wall that was cracked from him attempting to pull the chains out. "I have a lot of time. I've been here for almost 900 years." He turned to Cira again. "I'm still hungry. However I doubt that you'll want to come back if I let you go again..." He said. "Unless you would want to help me get out of here." There was a hungry look in his eyes, not only for freedom but for the twins in front of him as well.

Aric gripped her shoulders and shook her. "You see?" he said. "This is why there was a warning. You can't let giants out, just think about it." He attempted to whisper this time. He feared being overheard and possibly invoking the giant's anger.
Cira shrugged Aric's hands away. "I came back the first time," she said. Her palms were sweating. She was starting to get nervous again. And now she was torn between what Aric said and what Dardanos was hinting at. If they managed to free him then she could rid her hands of him, right? But the stories that involved giants being let loose on society never ended well. Although it seemed like the story of two half elves venturing into an old castle wasn't ending well either. Cira didn't have many options.
"Can't we...come to a sort of understanding? Right...Dardanos." She was never good a remembering names but she didn't want to make a mistake now. "Our last deal benefited you, I don't see why we can't make another one."

Dardanos picked Aric up with his other hand and shoved him in his mouth. He didn't swallow him, however, and instead pushed him to the side of his mouth, so that the top half of him was between his gums and the side of his cheek and the bottom half of him was in danger of falling in his throat. He looked at Cira. "What do you propose?" He had had enough of staying in this hole and was not going to let his chance to escape go away easily. If anything he figured if he behaved himself for long enough they would eventually try to let him out. After that, the first thing he could think of doing was rampaging a village.

Cira's jaw dropped. She stomped and kicked at his palm. "Will you please stop traumatizing Aric? How can I be expected to do business with my brother in you mouth?"
Cira took a deep breath to compose herself. She wasn't doing herself or Aric any justice by throwing a fit. She rubbed her temples, deep in thought. Aric was the thinker, not her. She wasn't very good at making deals and the fact that she had gotten this far had truly been a blessing.
"I-I can stay here," she offered. "For as long as you want...and I'd continue to hunt for you and I'll...I'll think about setting you free. At least until I know if you're capable of behaving just...please let Aric go." She looked up at him, pleading with her eyes.

Dardanos smiled. "Fine." He spit Aric out, leaving him beside his sister. "He can go." He was slightly sad that he wouldn't see the more fearful sibling as much, but he figured he would visit sometime. "Have him go get anything you need." He stood and threw Aric up to the stairs. "Hurry up." Turning back to Cira, he smiled. "You found your way down here. Do you know how you would free me?"

Aric looked back down at her, wiping himself off. "Are you crazy!" he shouted. Cira just waved him off and gave him a certain look. She didn't need to speak, he understood. He stomped off, mumbling and cursing to himself. Aric would be back soon, with Cira's things and to convince her to leave never to come back. Cira wasn't him, she'd be fine on her own. For now.
Cira crossed her arms and shifted from one foot to the other. She felt uneasy now. It had all been settled so quickly. She would be staying here. She wondered how Aric would break the news to their mother. She was at least glad she wouldn't be there for that.
"If you haven't noticed I don't usually think ahead." Cira laughed nervously. Is this how Aric felt? Being alone here, truly alone made her feel so small.
Now that Aric had scrambled back up the stairs she was truly at his mercy. Of course, Aric would be back but what was stopping him from swallowing her like he did to him? And why had he agreed so suddenly?
She sighed, frowning. "I won't pretend that I know anything."

Dardanos frowned. "I suppose you can figure it out." He watched her shift from side to side. "Are you nervous?" He smiled, moving to hold her by the back of the neck. He dangled her over his mouth. "There's nothing to be afraid of." The tone of his voice, however, conveyed the opposite. It seemed that she had everything to be afraid of. He laughed and pretended to drop her, before catching her again with his hand. "You know it's probably not that bad in there..." He smiled at her. "Your companion turned out fine..."

Cira shook her head. She would not admit to being nervous or scared. Not this time. She had gotten this far, she just had to continue on for a while longer. Eventually, he'd tire of her company right? As long as she pretended not be afraid she could fool herself into thinking it was true. Although his toying with her was becoming too much and she found that she was shaking again. Cira crossed her arms, putting up the brave front once more.
"Fine? He smelled of urine. I think he pissed himself in fear. I rather not...find out what it's like. I'll never set you free if you do." She was trying to bargain again. She wasn't even sure if she could set him free at all, but that was all she had.

Dardanos growled. "Aren't you the brave one?" He rolled his eyes and carelessly tossed her down, onto the dirt pile. "Fine." He said. "I won't eat you if you try to set me free after a while." He got closer to her, before laying down in front of her. "Unless you change your mind." He smiled. Although he doubted she would freely want to get eaten, he figured that if it got cold enough at nights, which it often did, that he would have to warm her somehow. "Do we have a deal then? I suppose we never really finalized the details on the last one..." He paused. "Do you want to shake on it?"

Cira landed with an thud. She rubbed her swore back and grumbled to herself. Being thrown around surely wasn't helping either but underneath the layer or irritation she was quite relieved that the threat of being eaten had seemingly faded. "I won't change my mind." Her mind wandered back to the look on Aric's face when Dardanos hacked him back up. It hadn't been an experience he enjoyed and it wasn't one she wanted to share.
She felt like the details were fairly simple. She'd stay here for as long as was necessary. Although, that's what she thought but she wasn't quite sure what that meant. How long was necessary.
She stood, extending her arm and offering her hand to shake. But, to be fair she wasn't quite sure how that would work either.
"Think of be as your housekeeper for the time being...although tidying up would seem a bit impossible."

Dardanos chuckled and moved forward, shrinking to shake her hand. His chains glowed and morphed to fit his wrists, although they remained the same length. He was still taller than her and taller than a normal human in general, but not abnormally so. The only difference between him and a normal human was probably his red eyes. He reached forwards and took her hand. "Alright." He looked her straight in the eyes, waiting for her reaction. Giants other than him usually didn't have the ability to shrink, and he felt quite more vulnerable than he usually did at his normal size.

Her mouth fell upon and string of unintelligible rambles came out. Cira had been sure that nothing else could have surprised her. She'd been wrong. She also wasn't sure if this was better or worse than him being a giant. Aric used to read stories out loud to her in which people hid from giants, in the nooks and crannies of their lair. It was harder to hide from someone who was on--or close enough--to her level is necessary. She had to lower her gaze, however. Cira always had a hard time maintaining eye contact with other people. It was nothing personal. But it was a reaction that made her look meek.
Cira snatched her hand back. She was certain now. Nothing else could surprise her. "Anything else I should know?"

Dardanos laughed at her rambling. Although he was now human sized, he still had the intimidating leer that he had as a giant when he looked down on her like he did. He retracted his hand back to his side. "Yes..." He leaned closer to her, pulling her chin up with his hand. Although he could probably tell her what his other power was, he preferred to show her. He almost seemed as if he was going to kiss her, before he suddenly started to grow again. He picked her up in his hand and breathed in her face. Other than the normal hot breath smell, it was surprisingly pleasant for a giant who had probably never brushed his teeth. It had the faint smell of roses to it.
"You should probably sit down." He said, smiling and putting her on the ground. The orange on the walls began to glow very, very brightly. Or perhaps that was just her? Dardanos didn't appear to notice anything different. The floor became quite blurry as well, but was really vibrant colored for some reason.

Cira would have complained. Somewhere in the back of her head there was a speech finalizing in the event that she'd protest this pattern of being picked up and put down randomly. She would have, but as she knelt there on the ground her eyelids grew heavy and something just didn't feel right.. She was dizzy and her vision was starting to blur as she rubbed her eyelids. "I...um..." Cira reached out in front of her, as if to steady herself. Her emotions were mixed wildly. She felt dizzy, and sort of drunk, and like she hadn't slept for days, but also like she'd woken up groggy from a nap.

Dardanos watched her. It seemed that he was shrinking... Or maybe he was growing? He didn't seem to have any pattern to his changing size. However really, he wasn't changing size at all. He kneeled down beside her. "Are you alright?" He asked, smiling. He knew exactly what was happening but felt the need to toy with her anyways. He moved his hand beside her to steady her. He was trying to resist the urge to use this state to devour her, as she would remember all that happened to her after the effects of his breath wore off. "Maybe you should lay down."
