Should there be a forum feature that would automatically expire General Discussion threads after one year (or more/less) of inactivity, so that no replies could be made to it after the expiration period?

This would be also applied retroactively to all threads based on original posting date unless the thread is currently active (e.g. last reply to the post still within expiration)

Nah, should leave it up to a mods discretion IMO

If it's a solid necro, why punish them? If it's a bad necro that's just basically a "LOL AGREE", they should at least get a slap on the wrist.
