I say Japan.

What I saw in the proposal from America was a mechanic robot controlled via similar to diggers with no AI at all. Just free aim and not to mention, a giant cannon stuck onto it's arms.

Like Kurata said, that was boring just a giant piece of metal and sticking guns on it. The Japanese robot was more developed since it has an AI and all those interfaces.

I think it might go to America.

This is what I like to see. though. Money spent on a pissing contest.

I'm glad that the Japanese end upped the ante to melee, I really thought this would be a tragedy of misfires.

But now it feels like Ryu versus Balrog.

It's very smart, it supports robotics with one hand, and asks me to follow it with the other.

Dude, what I saw from Japan was a pretty girl climb into a thing that I'm not sure she piloted so much as the thing was ready to pilot itself.

And even so, you don't want a or need a literal pilot within these things if it's a battle.

Mechanization is heavier in Japan culture, but let's let the results concur, mechs minus pilots are insidious.

I say America based on track record of robots that deal damage, but I wouldn't even put money on the event happening, I'm so baffled.

The winner of this fight will be the model of all Gundams made in the next 20 years. Countries like Britain, Russia, France, and China will all have their own Gundams within the next few decades.
