When I signed up for the free trial, I read on the signup page that I could cancel auto-renew at any time. This, however, seems not to be the case. There is only an option to cancel the free trial.

I've read a few threads and apparently this has to be done by Crunchyroll staff. I would appreciate it if someone would be so kind as to either stop auto-renewal for me, or tell me how I can stop it without cancelling the trial. Thanks!

By cancelling your renewal, you're essentially telling CR "I have tried your service, and decided that I don't wish to pay for it."

If you want to get the most out of your trial, I'd suggest cancelling a well before the end of the 14th day, as it seems that CR's billing system may pre-auth your card earlier than some users expect.

During the first 24 hours of a free trial the validity of the provided means of payment is validated by our system. While the validity verification is running, free trials cannot be canceled. However, after 24 hours have passed, you can cancel at any time. However, as has been pointed out, canceling the free trial of the automatic renewal will immediately end the free trial, as the service is only aimed at users considering a subscription. This is actually an industry standard.
