I am meticulous; therefore, I prefer the source material to the anime adaptation.

I prefer both some anime's suck and some manga

I would say the exact same myself! I look at say Rosario Vampire (manga great, anime *dead*). Code Geass (Loved anime to death).

Manga if I want to read the story without dealing with slow scenes, and anime if I want to weight lift at the same time or if the combat is well done enjoy the combat more.

I prefer watching something.

Less work to do... I don't have to imagine what the characters sound like.

I prefer to read/watch the original over the adaptation.

Usually, that means the manga over the anime... but if the anime came first (Please Teacher, Vandread, Eureka Seven, etc.), I prefer that.

I like both and feel this community totally has room for that. Yesterday I pulled out my first volume of Monster Museme and watched the anime as I turned the pages was cool especially with color pages of Manga. They followed the story exactly word for word the anime should be great

I prefer reading and source material since Anime tends to gloss over details.

Manga.

Better art. Cooler art. Better storytelling. Better endings. Better pacing.

This. Although, it is so nice when a manga is adapted to Anime and the Anime actually ends up being just as good. Sadly that's so rare...

Anime, I haven't quite developed that part of my brain to like manga more than the actual anime yet. Soon maybe...

My mantra is always, always, always try to read the book before seeing the film. With manga and anime that isn't always as simple since most manga can be like 400 issues long and that's way too time-consuming to read all in one go, but I try to experience them both at some point to get the whole story.
