I rushed to the Lightning Sale on Blu-rays, and all I found was the restored Giorgio Moroder's Metropolis, for $8.99.
Darn, and I'd bought it already. (At full price.)

Picked up a few more SSD's on that Crucial deal. Good brand, solid speeds (pun intended), cheap price.

It was a Dud for me They are just selling off their left over junk that no one wanted but now everyone wants because they flash pretty words at people.

Well, that was a complete disappointment. I suppose there were a few decent deals in there but those lasted all of a few seconds before selling out. The rest of it was either garbage or things priced at barely noticeable discounts. It should be interesting to see what Amazon does next time because I think this sale was a big enough waste of time for everyone that I doubt anyone will pay attention if they do it again. The only good part for me was that a was just on a trial Prime account that I cancelled as soon as the sales ended.

Well, whatever good stuff they had were on sale during times I didn't check. And got sold within the first half hour. But then again, there weren't that many good stuff to me or anything I needed.

It was pretty poor.

They are just clearing their warehouses of things that they don't want.

I'm glad I spent money on PC parts instead of the crap they had on sale.At least I'll be contributing towards getting something awesome to watch videos and stuff on.

You think they did it to just get people to buy Prime?

One thing that annoyed me about prime is the pick times didn't improve. So yeah, free upgraded shipping with a pick time of a couple of days, (non-holiday).

What's funny as all hell is that SOAP.com and that whole family of estores is free next day shipping on orders of $49 and more.....and it's also owned by Amazon. No bullshit, no nothing. And damn near no pick-time. I ordered something this morning, it will be at my door, well, today.
