Premium status rescinded inadvertently. Please help.

I had been billed in mid-June for a year's premium membership. I emailed CR asking for an explanation, because I should have had three months' credit remaining on my account via a promotional bonus.

Fast forward about a month later. I received an email yesterday afternoon cancelling my account subscription entirely, which is certainly not what I wanted and I'm really not sure how my request could have been interpreted that way.

I was hoping for an immediate fix but given that it took them a month to take any action on the request in the first place, I'm attempting to exhaust all options for an expedient resolution.

Reply to that email you received, letting them know that's not what you intended and letting them know more specifically what you wanted. I think since it's an existing ticket and a direct response, it's likely to get faster attention. Normally account-specific issues can not be resolved via a forum inquiry.
