Ahh, I have the issue all the time !

I went to see AKFG last year in London by myself, but it was honestly one of the best concert experiences I've ever had! I made some friends in the queue, ended up right in front of the stage, somehow managed to meet someone who I knew from years ago but didn't know they were a fan and also grabbed the drummer's stick when they threw it at the end!

If I didn't go because I couldn't find someone to go with, I would have missed such an amazing experience. Now I would not mind having to go to a concert alone again !

Being the loner that I am, I go to all my concerts alone. I had the same worries, but I'm glad I went and didn't miss out.

I'm going to see Korn alone in a couple days. Going alone is fine to be honest. I went to the other side of the country to see Muse alone once.

Festivals would be a different matter though. The difficulty of going to a concert alone is nothing in comparison to a festival. At least if you're camping there.

you'll be okay going alone! the best thing about going alone is you get to pick and chose when you want to go and when you want to leave :D

+ im sure you'll make buddies in no time

Do it and don't even think twice if you have to go alone because you'll miss out on an awesome experience and regret it later. I know for me there are a couple shows I didn't go to because no one wanted to come with me and I hate myself for not going.

I find that's it's alright.

I go to classical music concerts alone all the time.

There's a rachmaninov concert coming soon... and I'm going alone... there's no shame in going alone if you truly enjoy something.

I don't like forcing someone to come with me if they don't even like classical music.

They've performed a bunch in the US already, in fact, they were on Warped Tour for the entirety last year. They've done numerous festival performances since, I would look around for dates. Last.fm is great for that.

I think it depends on the show you're going to.

You should do whatev you're comfortable with, but I feel like if you're going to something like Metal, Hip-Hop shows or any shows w/ crazy crowd energy, you might wanna bring someone w/ you.
I feel like if some dumbshit happens at the show, it'd be nice to have someone else that would/could back you up.

I also feel like girls/guys who's not down to get hit/pushed, etc. at the show might not wanna go alone. It all depends on the crowd tho.

Like 20 yr old tiny girl shouldn't go to Run the Jewels show alone imo lol

But ultimately, you should go see your favorite artists to appreciate the music & support them, regardless of if you're going alone or not.
Keep good energy.

I've been going to shows of various genres for the best part of a decade now, never had any problems. As long as you don't try to shove other people out the way or start fights you'll be fine, like everywhere else really.

Best advice I can give is to just focus on the band and not the people around you, because after all you're there to see the band.

I wandered around Govball for awhile alone, though then my sister tagged along. I avoided my father like the plague most of the time, tho because he is old and embarrassing. The good thing is that nobody I was "with" wanted to go watch hard rock bands.
