Ladies and gents, let's continue with our story.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 2

B. or aunt B. as some would call her, would come to our store every Saturday to buy large quantities of eggs, lard and cheese, that she would then sell again for a higher price in local fairs. She was a woman in her forties, small, chubby, of a face that was less than attractive. Her wide mouth with meaty lips was somewhat crooked to the right side; her nose was short and stubby, with huge nostrils, a low forehead, with dark brown hair that was beginning to turn gray. Her eyes were particularly notable, they had different colors; small, scrutinizing and penetrating, the right eye was gray, and the left pupil, in it's upper side, was clear greenish-blue, and on the lower part, it was dark brown.

I was already aware of her fame, and while not prone to give such things too much importance, she seemed like a very curious person to me.

Before I continue, I must call a small detail to your attention, that holds importance with later events.

When my family took hold of the farm-town property, this place used to belong to an Austrian lord and was being run by an unneducated man, who was being dominated by aunt B. The farm wasn't producing anything, and that's why the Austrian decided to put it on sale. With the purchase, we received all the animals in site, including a dog. The canine was a shepherd, of reddish fur, excellent breeding and served as an efficient night watch dog, even though it was completely harmless during the day. Still, the animal was not kind to people who did not belong to my family's household; but otherwise, it was a loving dog, and it was specially fond of me.

The dog had particularly strange eyes; the right one was gray, but the left one, was exactly like aunt B's left eye. They were very much alike in appearance. Besides that, the dog became particularly wrathful when aunt B. visited our store, we had to chain the animal. It kept barking and howling until aunt B. would leave the place. The dog eventually got used to the day and time at which B. arrived, so the animal would run away to keep itself from being chained.

not a ghost story, but ive seen ufos twice. I'll talk about the first time. I was in elementary, not sure what grade but I was outside for recess or something like that and me and a friend looked up in the sky and saw ufos. the were diamond shaped and would shimmer in and out of visibility. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. believe it or not it didn't tip the scale on whether or not I believed in aliens. maybe it should have

That's pretty cool ; I think it's good that you remained skeptic, as you didn't have enough information or a particular reason yet to say that it was actually an alien or some top secret technology being developed by a shady group. Perhaps it was something else entirely.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 3

The causes of such hate from an otherwise normal animal were unknown. I once asked B. if she had the hurt the dog in any way to draw such hate from it, she said no, and added that the animal was ill intentioned and that it would one day hurt one of the members of my household, and that we should get rid of it. It was of important note that, outside the store, the dog was very much afraid of B. and would run away from him as soon as it saw her.

During the month of August in 1876, some days after the apparition of "the lantern", and just a few days before I integrated myself into an army regiment, I went for a night stroll in the company of my friend Lord N. I took the dog with us, we walked past the empty house, because I wanted to enter it and check the state of the structure, as well as the barn. As I said before, B. lived next to the empty house and probably saw us get in it.

After about half an hour, we went outside, and B. was leaning on the wall of her cabin. The dog was behind us, and as soon as it saw B., it yelped and started to run away at full speed back towards our farm. N. and I stood perplexed, looking at the animal make it's escape. B. started to laugh.

I looked at her and felt very annoyed, not sure why and not sure what to say to her. I turned around and looked at my dog, which was several meters away from me, it kept looing at us. We stood still, but I kept whistling at it to come to me. The dog finally obeyed and began to walk towards me, with a sad look and ears lowered, tail between it's legs, it kept dropping to the ground every few steps. I called to it, and as the dog heard my voice, it got happier and more vigorous. As soon as he was a couple of meters near me, it dropped low and started to growl. I called it again, but the dog wouldn't move, however, it's rage was growing fierce.

I felt like something abnormal was about to happen (N. later confessed that he felt the same way, he almost wanted to faint). By instinct, I turned my eyes towards B., and I was surprised to see her face contorted in a mask of rage and hatred. I will never forget that strange physiognomy of strange perversity, neither the intense y wrathful ire that took hold of me in that instant.

I called my dog with a dry and short tone; I knew it would obey. The animal straightened itself with glowing eyes, then, letting out a terrible howl, it ran full speed ahead towards B., who at that same time, had retreated inside her cabin, locking the door behind her with a lot of noise and trepidation.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 4

The dog slammed against the door, and clawed and howled at it, with such fury that it seemed as if the door would give in at any moment. It took both of my friend and I to pull the animal away from the door. After that, neither N. nor I wanted to continue the walk, so we decided to go back to my farm, and spent the rest of the night talking about what had happened between B. and my dog. The next day, I had to join up with my army regiment.

It was in December when I came back from service. A lot of my relatives had come to spend some days at my farm, so almost all the rooms in the house were occupied. Out of courtesy, I decided to take an old empty room as my temporary quarters. In relatively short time, my maid fixed everything up, and after spending some time with my dog, the maid took the dog outside and retired for the night.

My room was on the first floor, to enter it, you needed to cross a hallway that was directly connected to the living room; at that time, the living room was completely devoid of furniture. My bed was just next to the door in my room. I locked the main door, went to my room and left the door that connected the hallway with my room open, but I locked the door that connected the living room with the hallway. I got out of my uniform and placed my saber on a chair next to my bed. I turned off the lights and got into bed.

Just a few minutes later, I heard something scratching the door that connected the hallway to the living room. It sounded like a dog trying to claw it's way in, but it sounded stronger, heavier. I thought that perhaps my dog had been left inside the house by accident. I called my dog by name, "Sokol", but the scratching sounds grew more persistent, and louder.

The sound was disturbing my sleep, so I leaned out of bed and kicked the door closed. But as soon as I did, the clawing and scratching sounds moved from the living room door to my bedroom door.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 5

I must confess that, when the dog did not heed my call, and when the noises got worse and louder, I felt very much afraid; and now that the noises were so close to me, just outside my bedroom door, I lighted a candle by impulse, and the noise stopped.

I hastily put on my pants and quickly went about to inspect the hallway and living room by candle light, almost certain that the dog was the cause of the noise. I found nothing, I kept searching exhaustively, but the animal was nowhere in sight. I decided to go back to my room, out out the candle and tried to sleep. I had closed both of the doors.

Almost as soon as I put out the candle, the noises just outside my bedroom door began again, with increased intensity.

I was so annoyed and enraged, that without lighting the candle, I jumped out of bed, took my saber and unsheathed it, and tried to open the door. Some kind of force was preventing me from doing so. And in the darkness, a strange light could be seen, a luminous shadow or shape, if such a thing can exist, that vaguely blocked the door.

Without stopping to think, I lunged forward and unleashed a terrible strike with my saber, across the door. A line of sparks flew across the wooden door, as if I had struck a nail or some metallic object. My saber went straight into the wooden door and it was difficult to pull it out. I lighted the candle and, without letting go of my weapon, I went to examine the door. The board had been damaged in almost it's full extension, and there was no nail or screw or metallic object on it that could have caused the sparks.

For the time being, I couldn't find anything that could solve the mystery. It was around midnight. That very same night, after I attacked with my saber, I felt very calm and at peace. I put the saber next to my bed, I pet it lovingly as if it were alive, and went to sleep without trouble.

I woke up aorund 8 AM, and after, once more, seeing the terrible dent I left on the wooden door, I got dressed and hurried to the main farm, where my family and friends were waiting for me to have breakfast. I told them what had happened, and they all thought I had a bad dream, except my closest family and my friend N., who listened with attention and worry. We all went into the house to check out the door, but in just a few minutes, a woman rushed into the house looking for my friend N.

She asked N. to see aunt B., she was in a bad state. Apparently, someone had gone into B's cabin to deliver something, and found the sorceress in bed, bleeding, half-dead. I could not help but associate this happening with the events from last night. We hurried to her cabin, with the intention of investigating matters further.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 6

We arrived at B's house, and what a horrible sight it was; the sorceress was lying in bed, delirious, bathed in her own blood, eyes closed and clustered with dried blood, across her forhead, there was a huge wound, as if she had been cut by something. Blood kept flowing through her wound. The wound started 2 centimeters below her hairline, and ended halfway across her nose, it ws about 7 cm in length. Her skull was caving in, and I could swear you could see part of her brain exposed.

N. and I headed back to my house to get medical supplies and to send a carriage for the closest doctor available.

N. proceeded to bandage B's head, as people from town gathered around the cabin; they were there out of curiosity rather than affection, as it was well known that B. had tormented them for several years. A woman was heard saying "that B. finally got what she deserved, good."

I must confess that, from the moment I saw B., my brain made the connection. I knew then that B. was effectively an evil sorceress and that I had wounded her projection with my saber, when she assaulted me that night.

After B. was fully bandaged, N. and I went outside. I took N. to see the damaged door in my house and told him what I thought.

It's important to say that, at this particular time in my life, I was not aware of the occult sciences and hidden forces of the world. I had understood everything by instinct.

N. told me this "I do not understand, but something terrible is clearly happening here." We agreed not to tell anyone about our findings, no matter what happened to B. We went back to B's cabin.

The woman was comatose. Curiously enough, my friends and family had forgotten about what I told them concerning what happened during the night, and of course, N. and I did not try to remind them. There was one person that mentioned it, but I told him to pay it no heed.

At abour 1 o' clock, the doctor arrived at B's cabin. He inspected the wound and said that it was so great and terrible that she would not last more than a few hours. When he asked us, we told him we had no idea how the wound had happened. The doctor stayed to do what he could for B. and the police reports were filed.

At about 8 o' clock that very same day, B. suddenly got up on her elbows, opened her eyes with a look of madness, stood like that for a few seconds, and then fell down on her back. She died with her eyes open.

Dissolution of a larva by using a steel point.- Repercussion upon an evil sorceress' body. PART 7

Nobody could explain what had happened; the police filed it as accidental death. Aunt B's body was buried in a nearby graveyard.

I have not much to add to what happened, except for a coincidence. After B. died, the "Lantern" hauntings around the town of P. ceased to happen.

This happened 17 years ago, since then, I've had the opportunity to experience many supernatural events, but none of the nature of what happened with B. I've also noticed that, the most amazing supernatural manifestations, usually happen when there is a human involved.

I think there is enough data to arrive to the following conclusions:

1- B. was a powerful medium of physical manifestation, that acted with full knowledge of what she was doing.
2- She was skilled in astral projection.
3- B. wanted to take revenge and scare me in the same way my dog had chased her that night, that's why she imitated the scratching and clawing noises.
4- When I attacked the "luminous shadow" with my saber, the steel hurt B's astral body, and disrupted the cohesive forces between it and her physical body, which resulted in her fatal wound.
5- The "Lantern" and B. were the same entity, she was the cause of the haunting.

I also think that, if somebody had attacked the "Lantern" with a gun, they would have probably killed B.

And that's the end of the story, I hope you enjoyed it. What did you guys think about it?

I have my own conclussions about it, based on my experience and studies; if someone wants me to talk about it, I will be glad to.

I'm glad that you liked it Jackrabbit92

Yeah, she may have used two methods: if the narrator is to be believed and he was actually awake when he heard the noises, she used etheric projection, which is a very dangerous level of projection in which your etheric body reaches into the material plane, but when you do that you are completely exposed and may end up getting hurt or killed like she did.

But there is also the possibility that the narrator was actually asleep (or sleep walking), and that he actually attacked her astral body or projection. Astral projection is a safer kind of projection in which, usually, you can only be affected by someone in a semi-projected state (or half-asleep).

It was obvious that this sorceress (some would call her a witch, but that would seem derrogative to witches) didn't have much knowledge of the principles involved, and therefore, attacked in such a careless way.

I'm curious to know if the dog's eyes changed after B. died, because it's obvious she had been using the animal before for some vile purpose; probably riding his etheric or astral body to do her dirty work, which would explain the scratchin noises, she was probably riding the animal's etheric or astral body and making it attack the door. It's lucky that the narrator gave such a swift and terrible blow that the witch did not have time to "hide" behind the dog's body, making the poor animal take the hit instead.

A few times I have seen ectoplasm in pictures I've taken,
I also had a bit of a precognition thing when I was younger
I also saw a boy pop up from under my bed once when
I was in the dark but it could've been me seeing things
because of my mental health stuff.

Mental health, hm, well, the paranormal is very much related to the state of mind. That is, when your mind is under certain conditions, you can perceive other planes of existence and otherworldly beings more easily; our imagination truly serves as a lens of sorts, to view other realities.

However, if we do not keep it in check, that "lens" becomes smeared or foggy, and then, we cannot see clearly at all.

I've heard some psychiatrists say that it's not sure that Schizophrenics are actually imagining things that they see or hear all the time, that perhaps their mind has taken them into another plane. Interesting stuff.

True, I knew a schizophrenic person who had a lot of trouble because he said he always felt like he was looking at three other places at the same time. He could get insights and divine some things about people like that, but he had trouble doing simple things like running, multi-tasking, etc.

Mhm, I think it's hard for them sometimes to tell between what is in our
plane of existence and what is not. I have psychotic episodes,
and I find it hard to relay things sometimes afterwards.

So maybe that explains a little bit of it,
but most psychiatrists don't want to adknowledge
that there might be something "else"
ya know?
