http://www.tmz.com/2015/07/08/ariana-grande-i-hate-americans-donut-shop-video/

In this video we see an Employee bring out a tray of over-sized Donuts. Ariana Grande decides to pull out a d*ck move and said

"What the f**k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America."

Employee's said that her new BF was also licking the Donuts while no one was looking.

Ariana Grande later states that she had her Wisdom tooth taken out on Monday.
But really what do you think?

Wisdom Tooth?
Or Fat Shaming America?

I wouldn't say generic as she sounds squeakier than a mouse.

Well, I don't make listening to her music a habit. I definitely don't think I'll start now.

I don't hate america, but I don't really care for it either. Once I save up enough cash I am jumping ship and going to live in Japan.

Should I care? If she hates America, cool. More power to her. I mean, don't go around licking donuts because that's disgusting. However, as far as her comments on America, I've heard worse and there are bigger issues in the world than some random singer talking shit about a country.

I think people have been blowing this out of proportion. It's not like she threatened to bomb us or anything. Hell, I don't know if she even really hates America or not. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter. Do you like her music? Cool. Go ahead and listen to it. Have fun. I'm not going to push for a boycott of it.

Besides, it's not like she's the first person to say she hates America anyway. Why is it such a big deal just because she said it? Is it because she's famous? People need to reevaluate their priorities.

I don't get hating a country you make a conscious decision to live in. In the case of Ariana Grande, she's loaded - she can move. If she hates it here, she can go anywhere she wants.

That said, if you like the music - you have to determine whether you can separate the artist from their views. Now, if their views permeate their art and it is against what you like or believe, then that may be impossible. If it does not, as in the case with a generic pop star with a strong voice - then it may be fine. For example - as a Christian, I'd have a hard time listening to music which actively promotes or discusses positively occult activity or satan worship; or music which is insulting to my faith. But, I could easily listen to music from someone of a different background/faith from myself if the music is about life and other items which make up the human condition. (Example - I can listen to Rob Zombie's music, but have a hard time listening to Marilyn Manson's songs that aren't covers).

For me? I never really cared much for her music anyway, so that part is irrelevant. But seriously - who licks a donut? Is that even legal? Well, police are investigating the situation as the donuts sold out that night and therefore her spittle got into someone's donuts they took home.

Oh look, another average artist craving attention by saying something the media will eat up. Moving on...
