Hey guys, I just downloaded the mobile app hoping to catch up on some Naruto, but every episode (of every series) that I try to play just pops up a notice about upgrading to Premium. There is an Upgrade button and a blank grey button beside it, which I'm guessing is Cancel, but it doesn't do anything. I was under the assumption that only the newest episodes were restricted to premium members, but I can't seem to play any of them..

Am I missing something here..?

App video playback is still a Premium-only perk on some of the apps.

The original Naruto (not Shippuden) episodes are indeed premium-only.

If you view the series page on the website, you will not only see the premium crown logo on each episode thumbnail, but this under "Availability Information" on the right:

Naruto is available for streaming exclusively for Premium Members in the US, Canada and US territories. However, Naruto Shippuden is available for everyone.

Some of the apps..? Well that's kind of dumb.. in the meantime I've just settled for installing Firefox and Flash (I prefer Chrome, but no Flash on Chrome ) and watching it through the native site, lol..

If I can do that, why not let me use the app as well (on Wi-Fi by the way)?

I'm talking about Shippuden actually, but thank you for clarifying. Specifically, I'm trying to watch Episode 388 and onwards (end of the whole Obito shabang).

To be thorough, I am using a Galaxy S3 on Android 4.4.2. And like I mentioned, I can watch the videos fine on the site using Firefox (albeit with a crappy Flash player whose controls don't appear in Full Screen mode..), and I've tried a few different series, with old and new episodes.
