You don't seem to understand what slander, libel, fraud, harassment, or censorship means. Typical ignorant ramblings of a teenage who thinks he knows everything.

Yawn.

Well hey, you don't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed yourself but first impressions can't always be correct can they?

Its not as if anyone can respond to such a vague critique. There's no logic or substance to your post.

As long as direct irreparable harm to an individual or the lives of others aren't put at stake it should not be illegal - this is the grounds for defamation of character and being unable to yell fire to stir panic which is likely to injure people in crowded areas.

I rather defend the right to have the most vile of things said than watch me be next on the platter.

Some of the comments leveled at the OP have been unnecessarily harsh .

I think I agree with OP for the most part, although I think there should be a censorship option ~ as someone else mentioned, in video games. But for the most part, I think censorship is ridiculous, I mean, songs that contain a lot of swearing and are completely removed from the song just leave it as an instrumental with a word every 5 seconds (which I think sounds horrible).

So I suppose I think there shouldn't be censorship in the arts. I do think there are certain things that should be censored, such as the removal of media that depicts the suffering of real individuals, ie. child porn, animal porn, snuff films, etc.

Anything fictional I think is fine, it's up to the consumer, artist, and the distributor if the content is something they want to be involved in.
