I'm almost positive that it was just another charlatan trying to push around sugar water as magic, but I have to admit, the potion DID work. Placebo effect, maybe.

Humanity as a whole would most probably make it, but for the two of us the only stuff that would definitely make it into the next century are a bunch of dead net account that got abandoned by our dead selves.

...Unless we hire a service that would clean up those accounts after we kick the bucket (no idea why)

That map is kinda wrong since Iran would nuke more than just Israel but a bunch of Arab countries as well (Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia... Ironically those countries are standing closer together with Israel on the Iranian nuclear issue than the current U.S. administration)

It's surprising humanity has lasted this long.

We need to advance into a world that consumes free energy. Otherwise we're done for.

I have an arrangement with daughter number 3 to tidy up the loose ends such as my outstanding web accounts, my molding body, and the odd Mid eastern thermonuclear war.

I will probably, lol. I hope science and technology have advanced by that time considerably. ^_^

Nah, the web accounts are too much hassle.

My vote is no. I think that currently humanity has screwed the world up far too much. Let's face it. The current earth, as we know it, is dying.

Personally I think that Hummanity should be concerned with cutting down the population, using more renewable energy, and working on the space doughnut that I'm going to live in when I'm old.

edit: Behold! the space dounut:

The space doughnut is a cool idea! But I think some giant anti-space rock turrets would make it so much better. We do have rail guns now, so maybe we can make gigantic ones later on that can take out asteroids and evil alien races if there are any, kinda like the MAC (Mass Accelerator Cannon) guns from the Halo universe. We may even have space elevators eventually which would make moving things between space and earth much easier.

Orga777 wrote:Yup. I knew this garbage was coming. I should of expected that someone would bring up the idiotic myth of over-population. First off, there is enough food produced today to feed 10 Billion people.

And yet people continue to go hungry. Funny how that works. When it comes to distributing resources, logistics are as important as the raw amount available.

Not that I expect humanity as a whole is going anywhere--we're a pretty hearty bunch & 86 years is a lot shorter than it sounds. Pretty much nothing but a direct hit from an asteroid or a massive nuclear exchange would kill 99% of the population in that span of time. Having said that, we will almost certainly witness an increasing number of low intensity conflicts over resources in the latter half of the 21st century. Contemporary life requires a lot more than just food, after all.

Well just because people are dying from hunger doesn't mean that there isn't enough to food to feed everyone it's just some people don't have access to food.
