I have't seen this as a feature and don't know if there is a thread like this so if there is I'm sorry in advance!

I have been watching a lot of Naruto Shippuden, and noticed that right in the middle of a fight they would go into a filler arc (or in some cases two) and i couldn't help but to think if you could create a play list of episodes as a way to exclude these filler arcs. From there i kept thinking about the possibilities it would bring if everyone could create their own playlist of episodes from one or more shows. People could even create episode playlists centered around a common theme. (See examples below) Imagine if we could go so far as to share full playlists with other people on the site.

I think it would be a great idea if you could incorporate this into your already amazing service.

Examples of play lists people could make can include:
Certain character or plot arcs from a specific show
Episodes from different series pertaining to a common theme like vengeance or falling in love
Creating a playlist devoid of filler

I've moved this to our Suggestion/Feedback forum. (The Advice, Info, Recommendations forum is more for requesting suggestions about anything, while Suggestions/Feedback is specifically for giving suggestions to Crunchyroll.)

One thing you can currently do, though it lacks the elegance of a single link that would autoplay a series of episodes, is create pages on your profile and manually paste in a list of episode links that suit a certain theme or purpose.

Any word if this is being looked into?

I was about to make my first post with a long description of the benefits that could be gained from having this (mostly from a user experience standpoint). Coincidentally, I plan to rewatch all of Naruto & Naruto Shippuden while skipping the filler episodes as well and that's how I came across this post.

For now, I will write a script that will look for a set of episode numbers and skip to the appropriate episodes; however, this is a quick solution for my purposes only and even for Naruto specifically as I don't personally need this feature for anything else, and it is not a solution that will benefit other users. Having the ability to create custom playlists would benefit a lot of people, and it is definitely one of the better suggestions to be looked into in my opinion. For example, even if I make a script that take a series name and set of episodes to redirect to automatically, it would still only be for me, and it would be a desktop only solution. I could put a bit more time into making a mobile app version as well; but even then....if i'm on a different mobile device or different desktop device it's not convenient for me to have to transfer this workaround each time, and again it wouldn't benefit or solve the issue for other users.

Just food for thought, and it's good to see other people have thought of this as well.
